Skincare products are important to use on a daily basis regardless of your skin type or age. Skincare is a part of daily health and hygiene, but it can also serve many other benefits. Certain skincare can help leave your skin looking and feeling healthier, help to visibly reduce the signs of aging, help your makeup apply smoother, and play a part in your self care routine.

A simple and basic skincare routine that’s suitable for everyone (including beginners) would include removing makeup/cleansing your skin, using a serum, and a moisturizer. In the mornings make sure you also use a sunscreen. Some extra steps could include a daily eye cream, using a toner, exfoliating skin, and treating your skin to a weekly face mask.

This depends on the skincare products you are using – the answer to this is most likely yes – but it’s not always necessary to use different products in the morning and evening. Certain skincare products may be best used in the evening depending on their ingredients and others may have a thicker texture or more targeted formula which works better with the skin's overnight rejuvenation process. Check the labels on your product and try to use lighter products in the morning and heavier products in the evening – and of course don’t forget sunscreen during the day.
