Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! I've been using this for years and it's wonderful. I think it's perfect for any age but I think it works particularly well for me even as a get older. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great powder! This is my favorite powder, ever! I use the Absolute Pearl, I am fair skinned and it looks great! I love how the powder is so lightweight in texture and has great coverage on your face. I hope Lancome always has this powder and their dual finish foundation powder!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a powder foundation that looks natural! I have been looking for a lightweight powder foundation that is suitable for my skin that I could use instead of liquid foundation or in conjunction with. I have found that this powder foundation covers beautifully. I have used it alone when I do not need to look super made up or want a more natural look, and I also use it to set and fine-tune my liquid foundation coverage. I love it. No settling into fine lines, a nice finish that isn’t too matte or too shiny. It compliments my makeup & feels like I have almost nothing on. Very few powders feel that way to me after proper moisturizing. Touch ups are easy & do not seem to cake up. I use different brushes to build coverage, if necessary. My skin tone is medium with yellow undertones and Medium Ecru matched perfectly. I use Lancôme’s Photogenic Lumessence liquid foundation in Bisque 2 C

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Powder! This powder is so pretty and the color is really nice. I am a strawberry blonde (with some gray:) with medium yellow skin tone and this is perfect. The only thing I would say is use caution as to how much you use as it tends to look really shimmery if you use too much. It will also make your pores look larger if you overdue it. A little goes a long way and I use a different type of brush to apply less of this. If you remember Lancome's loose powder that used to come in the black container, and smelled to good by the way, this reminds me very much of that powder as it used to have a nice shimmer to it. Also, the container is bigger than the regular powder but there is less product in it which is a little bit misleading.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Powder Ever I love this powder! I was using the Mineral type powder on my face and noticed that I looked older than my years and that fine smile lines around my eyes were accentuated! So, I went back to the wonderful powder I used to use. Why did I ever leave? I look ten years younger and I GLOW!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Color I purchased the Absolue Ecru Light Powder for summer use when I have a slight tan. I trusted the color sample in the photo, it was not even close. This color has a very rich copper tone, very brassy. I will definitely return this and exchange it for Peche, which is absolutely beautiful and perfect for my skin tone (fair, but not very fair) in the winter months. I would recommend this product, but not this color for blue-eyed, fair skinned women.

Which loose powder is best for oily skin and that stays on all day? Should I go with translucence loose powder or Absolue powder?

Also which color would I need? I use 345 sand III dual finishpowder. And for foundation I use 220 Buff C
Asked by: Lisa
I have both powders and I have combination skin. My T-zone becomes very oily. I like the Absolue powder better because not only is it a bit lighter and finer powder but the look of it is flawless and it doesn't get a shine after wearing it all day.

What is the difference between absolute ecru light loose powder and absolute peche loose powder?

I thought one was more"sparkly" than the other but I cannot tell.
Asked by: Miss k
The color (tint) of the powders will be different. I matched the number of the powder with my foundation. I called a rep to find out the numbers of the powders.

Do I use the puff that comes with powder or a brush?

Asked by: Marny
I prefer to use a brush so a lighter amount goes on. You can always use the puff and then blend in with a clean brush too.

Is the talc in this powder safe for long term use?

I see talc is the main ingredient. I know talc has been linked to cancer, even in recent years. Is this talc safe?
Asked by: Syrah
FDA says its generally recognized as safe even in cosmetics but it does clog your pores. With that being said most all makeup has talc it is used as a filler even in some mineral makeup. I have been using this product & have had no problems thus far not even with clogged pores. This powder is very silky & gives skin a soft focus appearance. Maybe thats the talc since it is used for anti-caking. Hope this helps

Can I use this more as a highlighter instead of all over?

Absolue pesche and Absolue golden both have a luminescence to them so yes you could use one of those for a highlighter.

Do all shades have micro sparkles?

Asked by: christineatbay
I would say Light reflecting properties. The powder is beautifully luminescent, in a lady like fashion. You will not have sparkles all over your face, it is a lit from within glow. Very beautiful!

Can this be used to set concealer under the eye? What about baking?

I have this in golden that I use all over and I love it. So beautiful! But wanted to purchase the peche color for setting under eye concealer and baking my contour. So many others cause it too looks so dry and accentuates and lines I have.
Asked by: erscott
I think a translucent powder would be better for under the eye and baking! Try RCMA powder or the Laura Mercier secret brightening powder (specifically for under the eyes)!
