Engagement Party Makeup Look

Before the big day, first comes the engagement and the engagement party. Whilst your wedding day itself may be your star moment with a glam bridal look you can still wear a gorgeous makeup look for your engagement party. Soft subtle and romantic tones are an ideal makeup style for your engagement party makeup. Learn how to recreate his look created by beauty influencer Karen of @iluvsarahii in preparation for her wedding day.

Skin Prep for Engagement Party

First and foremost, prep your skin for the ultimate engagement party glow. Start by applying a few drops of Advanced Genifique Face Serum to add glow and radiance to the skin. Once absorbed apply Hydra Zen Gel Cream to create a smooth and hydrated base for your foundation. A combination of both helps to create an ultra glowy and hydrated base for your makeup.

Face Makeup and Foundation for Engagement Party

Whilst your makeup might not be quite as full and product heavy on the day of your engagement or your engagement party it’s still important to even out your complexion for a flawless look in photos. Skin Feels Good is a natural finish skin tint – foundation hybrid which provides a light to medium buildable coverage. For extra coverage and to conceal any dark circles, redness, or hyperpigmentation add a little Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer. With its lightweight consistency which effortlessly blends over the skin it leaves a soft natural finish which doesn’t look cakey or dry.

For a beautiful and romantic flush of color to the cheeks a blush can work wonders. Try using lipstick as a blush to amplify the fresh and glowing look created by Skin Feels Good. Apply a few dots of Drama Ink Liquid Lipstick in the shade French Tea and use a buffing brush to pat and buff the color into the skin. Use any of the remaining color on the brush to gently blend around the temples and the nose for a romantic sunkissed glow. Bonus – this neutral lip shade and cheek tint combo of Drama Ink Liquid Lipstick in French Tea is the perfect lipstick for your wedding.

Engagement Party Eye Makeup

To continue the natural, glowing and romantic engagement party makeup look add some shimmer and glisten to your eye makeup. Apply the middle (metallic shade) of Hypnôse 5-Color Eyeshadow Palette in French Nude across the eyelids using a sweeping motion to apply a wash of color from the lash line to the crease. Using just this one shade adds a soft and effortless look to the eyes. To finish off swap out a black pencil eyeliner for the darkest brown shade of eyeshadow in the palette and apply it as eyeliner. The brown shade when applied and blended adds to the softness of the makeup look. Apply the eyeshadow in a winged shape to help lift the eye and add subtle romance.

For the lashes first apply Cils Booster XL Mascara Primer to boost lash volume, length, and curl for an intense and rich false-lash look. Follow with application of one to two coats of Lash Idôle Mascara -- our mascara is designed to give lift and length to the lashes. With a specially curved mascara wand that lifts lashes for an open and bright eyed effect it perfectly complements the winged eyeliner.

Engagement Party Lipstick

For the lips -- a nude pink shade with a well-defined outline and cupids bow adds to creating a romantic and soft engagement makeup look. Apply Le Lip Liner in Fraichelle all over the lips to create a long-lasting base before applying Juicy Tubes Lip Gloss in the shade Spring Fling for a romantic shimmering glossy lip.
