Rose gold has risen to be one of the most popular color tones over the years and it’s even transitioned to makeup. For a look that is glam, modern, and not quite as intense as classic gold (or quite as soft as a pink makeup look) rose gold tones are your answer. Flattering on most skin tones and eye colors — rose gold is a classic makeup look that you can wear during the day or the night. It’s also perfect for some holiday glam and easily recreated with our Holiday Beauty Box.

Rose Gold Eye Makeup with Eyeshadow

To create a glam rose eye makeup look – eyeshadow is your best friend. To create the rose glam makeup look use our limited-edition Eye & Face Palette which contains 12 eyeshadow shades which is included in our beauty box holiday kit – perfect for creating a holiday glam makeup look.

Step 1: Swipe the taupe shade of eyeshadow “Tip Taupe” all over the eyelids taking the eyeshadow all the way up to the crease of the eye. With its subtle rose taupe shimmer it creates the perfect base for a rose gold eyeshadow look.

Step 2: Use the matte mauve shade to accentuate the eye look – focus the eyeshadow on the outer corner of the eyes and along the lower lash line to accentuate the eye shape. Use a sleek liner brush to apply the eyeshadow as close to the lashes as possible.

Step 3: Complete the rose gold eye look with beautiful fanned out lashes using our Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting Mascara which helps create a lash extension effect to lashes.

Tip: Prep eyelids with our eye primer and lashes with our mascara primer for a holiday look that lasts all night!

Rosy Blush and a Rose Gold Glow

Whilst eyeshadow and lip color are often the key components of creating a makeup look with certain tones – your blush, bronzer and highlighter also play an important part (and can help to create a monochromatic makeup look)

Bronze: To start add color to the face by applying the “Starlight Sparkle” bronze shade from the Eye & Face Palette. Apply using a “3” shaped motion (around the hairline, under the cheekbones, and along the jawline) to create a natural bronze look that is reminiscent of where the sun would naturally hit and bronze skin.

Blush: To add a rose glow to cheeks apply Blushing Tresor included in the beauty box palette. This soft rosy shade gives a natural looking flush of color to the cheeks. Apply directly to the apples for a fuller look and rosy glow or get creative with your blush application to shape your face.

Highlight: For the final step to tie together the rosy glow apply the rose gold highlighter shade in the beauty box palette to the tops of the cheekbones, the cupids bow, and along the brow bone. For an added hint of shimmer you may also like to apply this shade to the inner corner of the eyes.

Rose Gold Lip Gloss

To finish off and complement the rosy tones of the eyeshadow – apply a layer of sheer lip gloss to the lips. Our L’Absolu Gloss in Atelier Parisian 213 is a sheer creamy pale rose-pink gloss with subtle shimmer which works in harmony with the eyeshadow look.
