Face Makeup for Bridesmaids

After prepping the skin with an oil-free moisturizer like Hydra Zen Gel Cream and you may also like to prep skin with a face primer for even longer wearing makeup. A foundation can help to even out the complexion and create an even base for the rest of your makeup. There are a few factors in selecting the best foundations to wear for the wedding and your skin type, but we recommend Skin Feels Good Foundation – it's a tinted moisturizer and foundation hybrid which provides lightweight buildable coverage to the skin with a fresh hydrating glow. After applying your foundation apply concealer to cover any additional areas which need coverage, like dark circles, redness or a pimple if you so happen to end up with a pesky one on the day of the wedding. Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer is the ideal concealer to use for a wedding thanks to its lightweight full coverage formula – plus you can even use a darker shade to contour and a lighter shade to highlight as its all over formula is super blendable.

To add more color and radiance to the face apply a warm shade of blush to the cheeks – try applying our Drama Ink Liquid Lipstick in the shade French Tea to the cheeks. Apply a few dots of product and blend out using your foundation brush for a natural glowing cheek color.

How to Do Your Own Bridesmaid Eye Makeup and Eyeshadow

To create a sophisticated and elegant eyeshadow look that’s perfect for bridesmaids use Hypnôse 5-Color Eyeshadow Palette in Rose Fusion. Hypnôse eyeshadow’s are intensely pigmented and long-wearing with a soft and smooth texture which blends easily. The palette Rose Fusion contains a carefully curated selection of shades which are warm, rosy, very on trend and complementary to any skin tone. For a gorgeous bridesmaid eyeshadow look like the one we created use the following application steps:

1. Start by prepping the eyelids with an eyeshadow primer for long-lasting wear.
2. Apply the lightest shade over the eyelid to create a base over the eyelids use the included applicator or an all over shadow brush.
3. Use a small crease brush to apply the second lightest matte nude brown shade into the crease of the eyelid to create subtle definition
4. Blend the fourth shade (shimmering nude) of eyeshadow over the center of the eyelids
5. Add a warm and rosy hue to the eyeshadow look by blending the deep rose shade over the outer corners of the eyes and continue along the lower lash line, smudging out the eyeshadow as you apply
6. Finish the bridesmaid eyeshadow look by adding extra definition to the crease and lower lash line with the dark brown shade.

Once you’ve completed your soft bridesmaid eyeshadow look add your preferred eyeliner or apply the dark brown eyeshadow shade included in the palette to line the upper and lower lash line.

Finish off the whole bridesmaid eye makeup look with beautiful fluttery lashes. First apply Cils Booster XL Mascara Primer – this will provide a smooth and even base for your mascara to really maximize its results by giving you curled, longer and thicker looking lashes. After priming lashes apply two coats of Lash Idôle Mascara our lash-lifting mascara which volumizes each lash and gives a lifted and fanned out effect to really open up the eyes.

Lipstick for Bridesmaids

For the finishing touch to every makeup look, lipstick can help tie everything together. For the lips try L'Absolu Drama Ink Liquid Lipstick in shade 481 Nuit Pourpre a modern merlot purple shade which adds just enough drama without overpowering the look. With all day wear properties and an ultra-thin, ultra-lightweight texture it’s a great lipstick for weddings as it continues to look fresh throughout the day and leaves lips feeling soft and comfortable.
