Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long Lasting Coverage I was in love with the old formula but it would easily transfer and come off my skin. I loved how silky it was. The new formula is really different because it is thicker and it doesn't spread as smoothly, but after a few tries I really love the new formula because it stays on your skin for a VERY long time which is great! Give it a try, maybe even three tries before you decide it is not for you because if you are use to the old formula it may take some time getting use to the new formula. My advice is to go to the Lancome counter and ask for the chart to match up the color for the new formulation. I went from a Neutral to a Warm in the new formula!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUST PLAIN AWFUL!!!!! I keep hoping and praying they will bring back the old formula! It took years to find the perfect foundation and when I finally had they discontinued it!( I used Suede 3w) I agree with the one reviewer who commented they should never have replaced the old formula with this stuff and it should have just come out on its own. Now I have to waste time and money looking for another foundation. Even if they did not want to sell it in the stores and just sold it online (like Prescriptives) I would buy it in a heartbeat like apparently a lot of other people. So like many other reviews I have read PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Product This product brings new meaning to the phrase "if it's not broken, don't fix it". I concur with all the comments rearding the poor quality of this foundation. For over 12 years, I have been a loyal customer of the previous formula. This new product was positioned to me as the same product with different packaging, but that couldn't be further from the truth. My face has broken out (formula is not oil-free!), the consistency is way too thick, the color is awful and the bottle is difficult to manage. I am desperately looking for bottles of the old formula. Lancome, please heed the advice of your customers and bring back the old product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why???!!! Why would they discontinue old formula?! Why?! I was so upset when I heard that Lancome no longer has my old shade, buff 2w. Apparently they stopped making this formula and it has been discontinued. I cannot stress how upset I was. I almost wanted to cry fact being that none of the new shades matched me!!! Either they were too dark or too light. There was no in between shade. I am still very very very upset. They should really let their loyal customers know that they will be changing everything :(((. Unfortunately, I had to switch companies and look for a new color. I am very disappointed and for this reason I give Lancome a bad review. Please please please bring back the old formulas and colors!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very bummed they changed the formula Who needs a 24 hr foundation? Ive been wearing only Lancome foundations for 25 years and nothing about this one is like the 12 hr formula. - colors, application or coverage. The suggested color match from the 12 hr to the 24 hr was not even close, it is hard to apply and does not go on evenly. It does stay on and is hard to get off. My face has felt and looked 'eh' since I started using it. Does anyone have a suggestion for a full coverage, great feeling foundation that they have found since their disappointment in this one. Glad to see Im not the only one who doesnt like this version. Is it possible Lancome will consider bringing back the previous 12hr foundation??

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bring back the original! Unlike other reviewers, I don't hate the new foundation. But it's absolutely nothing like the old one, and I won't buy it again in protest and in the hope the Lancome will get the message and bring the old one back. I was a loyal customer of the old Teint Idole- I used nothing else, ever. If I want SPF, i'll put on SPF - i don't need it in my foundation. Whether it's this, or some other change, the new texture is weird, and the "color-conversion-chart" from the old colors is nonsense - the color it recommended for me was way too yellow. I am so disappointed, as i've had to start spending time and money trawling through other brands to find something that works for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is worth it....greate coverage I received so many compliments and inquires on how my face was glowing. So I presumed I didn't have the "made up" look but a "boy you have smooth skin". . Don't forget the LA Base for your primer. A must have. It may be pricey but it is worth EVERY doesn't take much to apply. These products sold me to change my beauty line to Lancome!I have used several makeup products for women of color, which have left me with touching up through out the day, mixing colors to avoid the chalky look or reseaching for an outdated discontinued product. Lancome's Teint Idole Ultra makeup #460 suede# provided complete coverage, color matching hues, and honest long lasting wear.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring Back the Old Formula! I have used Teint Idole Ultra for years. I was told in a store recently that the formula changed to 24 Hour. I bought and used it and was so disappointed. The new formula is thick and clogs my pores. It made me break out and I am 41 years old. The old formula had good coverage and was light. I returned my purchase (something I have never done before.) The Lancome representative gave me samples for the Teint Miracle and Teint Fresh Wear. I think I will end up getting the Miracle. The consistency is closer to the old Idole formula. The Fresh Wear is a bit too "watery" with not enough coverage. Why did Lancome have to change the Idole to 24 Hour coverage? Who wears their make up to bed?

Has it been re formulated?

I just bought my third or fourth bottle of Teint Idole, and it's irritating my sensitive skin. I never had any problems before.
Asked by: Angie
This product now has a high drying alcohol content. It has Alcohol Denat. listed as it's fourth ingredient along with a warning on it's packaging that it's highly flammable until it dries. I'm sure this is the cause of your problems

I use 320W Bisque for concealer, what shade would i choose for foundation?

I would love to use this foundation but having a hard time with matching my skin tone. I have a light-medium tones in my skin with a slight undertone of yellow and rosacea. I'm currently using Teint Idole Ultra Wear Concealer 320 Bisque W. What would be comparable to this shade in foundation? Also what do the letters after the shade mean?? Thank you
Asked by: Luvchele
In the Teint Idole Ultra 24 hr Longwear Foundation there is a 320 Bisque (W) so try that out, but I'm not sure if the concealers follow the same numbering system as for the foundation. The letters in parentheses after the color of the foundation will be either a C, N, or W. That refers to your skin's undertones and whether your undertone is cool, neutral or warm. . To find that out just Google it and you'll find lots are articles to help you determine if you look best wearing a cool, neutral or warm foundation colors..

What's the next comparable color if 380 Bisque (w) is too orange on my skin?

Please help. I've been color matched 3 times now and every shade is just too orange and too dark on my complexion. The experts say I'm between a neutral and a warm complexion. I'm tan but I have a more yellow undertone. I've already tried 420 Bisque, 415 Bisque and 380 Bisque w. Unfortunately all were too orange. It saddens me because I really want to use this foundation but every shade they put on my turns really orange on my skin and it's too noticeable.

My best advice is for you to go to the store, which has the Lancome products and have the Lancome trained salesperson match your facial skin tone to the correct shade of the Teint Idole Ultra 24H foundation. This will take out the guessing. You will be delighted of the results.

I am a perfect match to Tient Idole 210 Buff N. What would be the next shade darker for me? I will be getting a little sun.

Asked by: Kreese84
Probably #215 Buff N. It's a tiny bit darker than #210 Buff N.

Does this reflect the flash while taking photos? I'm looking for something that doesn't white me out when in the prescience of flash photography.
Asked by: Kmacmrk
No it does reflect the flash. It is a beautiful color on my skin tone.

Is it normal for your lancome foundation to be a bit orange?

I recently got color matched and the associate had me matched at a 420 Bisque N, the color looked like me in the store. But the lighting wasn't as great so I couldn't tell. I went home and it looked really orange. The next day i did my makeup to see if it was just the lighting but it still looked orange. What foundation color should I get if the 420 bisque N is a bit too orange?
Asked by: Marinewifemia1
Under makeup, foundation, all of the shades will appear and you'll be able to see what is available.

What is US equivalent to German 025 beige lin? (foundation teint idole ultra 24h)

Asked by: Anonymous
Your best option is to shop a major US department store and visit with a Lancôme Beauty Advisor. That way, you can be confident that you are purchasing the correct color equivalent.
