BIENFAIT UV SPF 50+ is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 190.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent SPF At first I was disappointed with it coz it balls up on my first application, I thought it's a waste of hard earned money and it comes in a small bottle which is too expensive for an SPF lotion. Thankfully I did not gave up and tried it several times and I was amazed how easy it is to apply and does not balls up like before, i think its just the initial effect on the first use, I love the fact that it has a higher spf and doesnt leave a sticky oily feel compare to cheaper spf lotion I tried. Now I am loving it everyday specially this summer time, it leaves my skin protected without feeling sticky and oily under the sun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good 50+ SPF product The Bienfait UV SPF 50+ for the most part really is a good protectant of the sun. I can tell you from someone who works outdoors all the time. However, the downside, if you want to call it that is that if you get it in your eyes. It takes a really long time to get it out and it burns. Lancôme does tell you on the bottle directions, NOT TO PUT IT ON YOUR EYES. That aside. it is still a good product which is why I am recommending it. You will have to find something to protect your eyes. But if you are wearing sunglasses all the time that are over framed sunglasses, like for someone whearing glasses. You should be okay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST SUNSCREEN This is absolutely the best sunscreen I have ever tried! Believe me, I have used so many different brands in search of a high quality sunscreen. This sunscreen is the best beauty and youth secret ever. It is lightweight and quickly absorbs into the skin. It is pricy, but prevention is the best beauty expense. Sun exposure ages the skin so this is a must. I am out in the sun daily for work so I put it on every morning as part of my routine. I also am prone to dark spots and freckles so this is a necessity for me. By using this, my dark spots are not as bad. I never write reviews but this is a product that I truly believe in and can't live without.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Sun Screen for the High-Humid Climate I bought this for my mom (who still lives in Thailand) about six months ago and she absolutely loved it. She rides her motorcycle to the big exercise field everyday and she said not only it protected her face from the sun ray; it also protected the strong wind from damaging her skin while she’s riding her bike as well. It’s also a perfect consistency for her since she lives in a high-heat & high-humidity like Thailand; it’s very light and doesn’t make her face sweat. I bought her the second bottle and she recommended me to try it as well, and so I bought the third bottle for myself and really liked it except it’s very dry on my face, which I think the Colorado climate is too dry for it, but it worked effectively!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and effective Yes, this product is thin, but it's meant to go on as the final step in your morning skincare routine. Put a light layer on top of your moisturizer--a very small squirt, maybe 3-4 drops--and smooth it onto your nose, cheeks and forehead. More if you want to cover your décolletage. It spreads out perfectly on top of Renergie day cream and though I've only been using it about a month or so, here in sunny southwest Florida, I burn fairly quickly and using this, I haven't been. There isn't really any discernible scent, if that's an issue for you. I'm pleased and will certainly be reordering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT SUNSCREEN FOR EVERYDAY Looking for a sunscreen that won't affect the wear of your makeup? Look no further! Lancome has created the perfect facial sunscreen. I wear it every single day. It is so thin and light, and absorbs completely with no greasy feel, no feeling at all! It doesn't affect how your makeup goes on and feels totally weightless. It is also great for those makeup free days. It doesn't run, sweat off or irritate skin or eyes in any way. A few tiny little drops are enough for your entire face, so this bottle will last a long, long time. Great value! I highly recommend this product to everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Facial Sunscreen! I've tried ALL brands of facial sunscreen and Lancôme's BIENFAIT UV SPF 50+ Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Super Fluid Facial Sunscreen cannot be beat. After my dermatologist removed some basal cell carcinoma from previous sun damage from my face (tiny nude bumps, I never would have noticed!) I got more diligent about sunscreen. And being a beauty junkie, the sunscreen had to work with my makeup and not be greasy. I use this sunscreen daily after my moisturizer and I swear it’s improved my skin. The bottle seemed small for the price, but you only use a few drops to cover your entire face and it absorbs very fast. And it’s SPF 50+! The bottle has actually lasted a lot longer than expected. I’ve stocked up and I’ll never be without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sunscreen Ever The is the first high SPF sunscreen I have ever used that does not leave a greasy, oily, shiny residue on my face. I usually apply sunscreen under my makeup and most formulas are horrible for makeup application and wear time. This sunscreen melts into my skin, my makeup goes on perfectly and the best thing is how effective the high SPF is. I do not need to reapply and after a full day in the sun my skin shows NO sign of sun exposure. I know this product is saving me from many wrinkles. Also, everyone I recommend this sunscreen to LOVES it.

why does this sunscreen leave white flakes all over my face?

I have normal/dry skin. The sunscreen does not seem to blend well when I shake it.
Asked by: calclerkret
I've never had that issue and I'm guessing the ingredients aren't being blended well enough. I give my bottle a really good shake... probably 15 to 30 seconds of very vigorous shaking... I know, a really, REALLY, crazy good shake! I would suggest taking it back and exchanging it for a different bottle and see if you continue to have the same problem after giving the new bottle REALLY good shakes before each use. At this point, if you've been using it without REALLY mixing up the ingredients well, I am assuming the ingredient ratio is off and you have more flakey bits to liquid bits, thus the flakes left on your face. I hope you give this sunscreen another try, as I've had nothing but success with this product and just love it. If you continue to have the same issue you might want to increase your exfoliation regime. It's so difficult to assess without asking about your skincare regime and lifestyle (product flakes or skin flakes?)! Best of luck and be sure to keep protected from the sun!!!

Is this product non-comedogenic?

Asked by: Stefy
A lot of people get hung up on buzz words like "non-comedogenic", "non-acnegenic" and "hypoallergenic". Because there are no approved or regulatory standards for these terms, anywhere in the world, I wouldn't hold a lot of stock in these marketing terms. First of all, there doesn't exist a product that won't cause some reaction to at least one person on the planet. However, the thinner the consistency, the "less likely" a product such as a serum, gel or liquid will cause clogged pores. This sunscreen states it is "Safe for all skin types including sensitive skin", as well as, "Oil-Free. Dermatologist-tested for safety. Recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation.". To me, the scarring, disfigurement and/or potential death from skin cancer seems a bit more daunting than a few pimples. But, helpful hint... don't sleep with a sunscreen on! Cleansing your skin properly each night and creating a moisture balance, with an appropriate moisturizer for your skin type, will do more to prevent clogged pores than worrying about buzz words. Personally, I really like this sunscreen and I haven't had a single issue with my sensitive skin.

Can Bienfait UV SPF 50+ be used around the eye area? Thanks!

Asked by: Dely
I would not apply it too close to the eye--your temple and cheekbones, but not nearer. Any sunscreen will burn your eye if it runs while you're sweaty.

What is the PA protection in this product?

Like PA+++?
Asked by: ameliawyk
I believe you are asking about the SPF 50? If not I don't know what to tell you as I have no idea what you are asking about. SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor and this has a score of 50 which is just about a strong as you are going to get in addition to all those other wonderful ingredients we have come to expect and love from Lancome.

May i use this instead of moisturizer in the summer?

combination oily skin
Asked by: lulin
This is not recommended, although you can use in addition to one of our moisturizers. We have several other products to choose from that would have a better balance of what you might need.

Does product sting eyes?

I love using the Bienfait UV Sunscreen but because of past experience with other products, I don't apply it to my forehead or around my eyes. I exercise (and sweat profusely) and swim, both of which cause the sunscreens to run into my eyes. Every sunscreen I've used have caused extreme burning if they get into my eyes. This product doesn't advertise that it's a non-stinging product; therefore, I'm asking (without testing it on my eyes) whether or not it stings eyes. Thank you, Charlotte Beall
Asked by: CKBeall
I used it in Costa Rica last June and had no problems. I was sure to keep it out to the obit of my eyes and above my brows. My eyes will burn from sweats whether you use it or not they will burn. Try waterproof eyedrops before you do any thing else and I bet it will solve the problem
