Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this makeup I am in my 60's & this is the best foundation I have ever used. Very natural looking & moisturizing. Really improves the look of my skin! Coverage is on the light side but it can be layered.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sticks In Your Wrinkles! No matter what I did, this products sticks in your wrinkles even using the brush that I was sold that was very expensive. I do not recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My New Makeup I had been using another cheaper foundation for years, but it was discontinued. Then I discovered Lancome's Teint Idole Ultra 24H and I couldn't believe I'd found the perfect foundation for me. The shades are excellent. It still felt great on my face and I could use very little. It had a creaminess that covered discoloration and unevenness so well. It also reflected light from my face. Then a few years back, Lancôme changed the makeup and it is now more matte. It's also today known as Teint Idole Ultra Wear. I have struggled with the new formula. It doesn't go well with my oily skin and it feels uncomfortable and looks cakey--even without powder. I also noticed it has an expiration date on the jar. I decided to see if Lancôme has something else that isn't matte, so here I am with Renergie. I agree that the applicator pump needs to be changed--too much comes out. And I like this makeup, but it still doesn't cover up my imperfections like the old Teint Idole did. However, it feels good on my face and isn't cakey. I'm going to try mixing Renergie with my final bit of Teint Idole Ultra Wear, since it's a little thicker, and see how that turns out. Either way, so far I'm sticking with Lancôme because their makeup is definitely better than the cheaper brands I've found in the local drugstores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great foundation I prefer a more sheer foundation in most cases but this product seems to work well on my skin. Not sure about the anti-wrinkle effect --don't see much improvement after application. Maybe it takes more time. I have sensitive skin so when a product doesn't cause other issues I'm happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favorite foundations I used this foundation some time ago and after that I decided to try Absolute and some other foundations. Well, I am back to Renergie Lift Makeup Foundation! I love how it feels and coverage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Natural Looking foundation I've used Renergie foundation for years. I love it because it gives a natural look while evening out my skin tone. It doesn't dry out and feels great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Awful pump and dry looking The pump on this is awful. When you press it, a huge amount comes out so you end up wasting a lot of product. Would not buy again. It also emphases wrinkles and other imperfections since it appears to cake up in spots that are uneven. Awful.

This contains parabens. Aren’t those bad for you?! Why have them in this?

Asked by: MaggieD
Hello MaggieD! Parabens are a group of commonly used ingredients that act as a preservative in cosmetics and personal care products. They are highly effective in preventing the growth of fungi, bacteria and yeast that could contaminate and degrade products. As part of our commitment to deliver high-quality, effective products, certain parabens are used in some of our formulations to ensure the safety of our consumers. Extensive research spanning decades has confirmed the parabens in our portfolio are safe at the concentrations we use. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), which regulates the personal care industry, upholds these findings. While we take great care in evaluating each ingredient we use and are confident in our products’ safety, we know there is public conversation encouraging consumers to avoid certain ingredients, as is the case with some parabens. Based on growing demand for products that do not include parabens, we substituted them for other preservatives in some of our products. Consumers can look on our products’ labels to see what ingredients are included. Additionally, as part of our innovation strategy we are developing packaging systems and new product formulations that are less vulnerable to microbiological contamination, which will limit the use of preservatives in general. As we have for the past 100 years, we will continue to take a rigorous approach to product quality and safety, while monitoring consumer insights and preferences. If you would like to learn more about parabens and how they protect your safety, we encourage you to visit www.cosmeticsinfo.org.

Will this work for ne?

I have oily skin and also looking for good coverage. Would this work for her???
Asked by: Chris
I wouldn't recommend that for oily skin. Lancome has two foundations you can try. Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Wear foundation is oil free and leaves a matte finish which is what you want for oily skin and is a medium to full coverage foundation. The other foundation is Nude Miracle Weightless foundation. It absorbs oil and also has a matte finish. This foundation is a light to medium coverage,

I have used Renergie for years and would like to try Absolue Foundation. How do they differ and which one is better for mature skin. I am in my 70's

Asked by: Maui Lady
First of all there are two Absolue foundations. One is a cream and is for dry to very dry skin. The other is a liquid foundation for normal to dry skin. The Absolue has Pro-xylane technology which is supposed to replenish the skin and covers discolorations. I believe the Renergie is a lightweight foundation but they are both medium to full coverage.

Do you need a primer?

Should a primer be used after moisturizer before applying this foundation? If so, which is most suitable for this formula?
Asked by: BB52
The primer you use depends on your skin type. Lancome has one without oil, one that leaves a matte finish, one with an illuminating effect, etc. In general, yes a primer is always best to put on before your foundation.
