Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent results Luckily I found an online image that has the colors labeled which made it easier to pick my shade. I posted the picture in hopes it will also help others pick the shade that is right for you. I had tried my friend's dual highlighter who has fair skin and I just loved how easy it blended and looks so natural. I could not wait to get one for myself. I ended ordering the Radiant Rose Gold for my medium golden colored skin tone. Feels so silky and smooth. Use it wet for more dramatic highlighting effect, or use it dry for a subtle glow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Highlighter!!! Hello. I wanted to let everyone know that Lancome Dual Finish Highlighter in 05 Sparking Peche is the most amazing highlighter and the best color I have used in a long time. The color is great for my light-medium with yellow skin tone. I like to apply it to my cheekbones, the brow bones, the nose bridge, & the cupid's bow. After I apply it, I feel like I have the most natural glow ever. I love this highlighter and cannot wait to try the other colors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but Not Great I"m a new user of this. The good: it's gives a little pizazz to your look and it stays on. I look more finished using this product; it does live a "flawless finish." The downside is it's too shimmery. Just a bit much for my taste. But still a decent product. I would re-purcchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GLOW FROM WITHIN Purchased this in shimmering buff. I wanted to be able to apply with a fluffy brush. It goes on smoothly and looks like you re lit from within. Staying power is amazing. Will purchase again. Thank you, Lancome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from product is great, the applicator is less than stellar The product I've been a loyal user for 25 years - but the applicator has made some change over the last few years. Seem inferior products or glue make the applicator separate from the stabilizer making it harder to apply the right amount and you'd think they'd like you to apply generously :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Option I was a Estée Lauder girl for years, switched to Clarins as to skin and some Chanel and began purchasing only Lancôme cosmetics, best desicion ever! And I'm beginning to try the skincare too-so far I lm addicted. Love the Pearl Syrum for eyes, and the Green packaging line, Energie de Vie I think!

What color recommended for very fair skin?

I am 76 years old with very fair skin, red hair, and blue eyes. I have used Lancome for 35 years and the Absolue skin care. I will appreciate any suggestions.

Refer to my most recent post "aging gracefully" on the use of Lancome Dual Finish Highlighters, perhaps that answers your question. Also one over 54-64 person was nice enough to include a photo of all the Dual finish highlighters on her very fair skin colors.....lightest to darkest. Hopefully, this helps you.

I have fair skin, slightly to the pnik side. What shade would be best. I do not tan but would like a brighter glow on my cheeks and nose.

I would like any ideas on what shade to give a subtle glow to fair skin with a slight pink cast. I do not tan, but wanted a touch of healthy brightness and glow. Any suggestions?. Thanks!

I too have very fair "mature" skin 63 yrs old depending on the day I vary my foundations... usually the Dual finish in Versatile Porcelaine I # 090, if you want to use a highlighter I would use Radiant RoseGold # 03, or Sparkling Peche #05. However, I will offer you one word of advice although I use proper skin care, a Lancome base pro primer. so if you use it.. you might find as I have any product that has a "shimmer" will only call attention to eye lid and side (wrinkles & laugh lines) so I advise using the high lighter VERY SPARINGLY! Also use a very clean soft fluffy brush and gentle light touches upward strokes. Best of luck! PS: Lancome is the only one who makes such versatile highlighter shades!

The shades are not specified in the images, how can I tell which is which? They are numbered 1-5, is that the order from top to bottom on the arms?

It would be helpful to list the shades on the images so we known which shades to pick from.

On the Lancome website, they are named and numbered when you go to make your selection to purchase. There you can match the number to your shade

Dual Finish Highlighter vs Absolue Powder?

I need some direction. I'm debating getting either or possibly both of these depending on their outcomes. They seem to have a lot of overlap and I'm wondering what the main differences are between them? I'm guessing the powder is less illuminating than the highlighter of course, but will they achieve relatively the same look? Sometimes the differences are so subtle, but the prices are not.
