Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color won't go on brush or eyelids I noticed this same problem with the last two eye palettes I received with a GWP. Only this one I paid full price for. The color flakes right off the brush and won't hold there. When you go to put the shadow on your eyelid it flakes right off onto your face. Very little color stays on lid. The only way to get it to stay on was to use and eyeshadow primer and even then you still had the issue of getting the color to get on the brush to get it on your eye. Still flakes all over your face too. This was never a problem with Lancome shadow before. They must have changed their formula.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great palette! I love the color selection and the four very glittery colors (the four at the bottom) of this palette. This is definitely not your basic palette if you're looking for a more nude basic range of colors. The shadows blend well and are not overly pigmented, which I like since it makes it easier to use. You can easily build the intensity as you like, and go from day to night looks. The case unfortunately is made of cheap plastic and doesn't close very well. Not a deal breaker, I just put a rubber band, but for the price I would expect something of more quality. Overall I am very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Versitle Absolutely love this palette. My favorite are the greens as they play up my brown eyes beautifully. For an everyday look, I use the nudes with a bright lipstick and I'm out the door. I also like to mix and match the colors (blend them together by applying the darker color first) but I generally use my fingers for this. I felt it seemed to work better than using a brush. I also found using my ring finger also works best when applying the glittery shades. They are perfect for an evening look without looking like a disco ball. I found that using my fingers on the glittery shades also prevented the flakiness and fall-out that you often get when using a brush. I am extremely happy with this palette and feel that it works with almost any color I have in my wardrobe. Well done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instructions For Those Not Using This Palette Properly I'm hoping to help those of you who don't know how to use this palette. This palette is to be used like the shadows made about 15 years ago I love by Lancome! TO APPLY USE YOUR RING FINGER AS YOUR EYESHADOW APPLICATOR!!!!! OR ANY SPONGE TIP APPLICATOR WORKS!! It's so upsetting to see the reviews so horrible because of younger ones not understanding how palettes were used! The best thing about using your finger is also that you can mix your colors together to form custom colors! Wash finger before applying the darker ones to mid eye area. LASTLY USE A TINY SPONGE TIP APPLICATOR & WET UNDER THE FAUCET, USE AS EYELINER!! THATS WHAT THOSE METALLIC ONES ARE FOR ON THE BOTTOM!!!! Go over the dark eyeliner you just made using the dark colors!! When used properly with YOUR RING FINGER AS THE APPLICATOR.... ALSO ANY SPONGE APPLICATOR WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!! Now hopefully palettes like this for my fair fair skin will continue to be made cause it's amazing! The only one like it on the market!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Was thinking of returning at first, but it's my favorite palette now I ordered this palette at a reduced price during holidays and then decided to check the reviews online. Most people complained that the shadows had no pigment and I started thinking I'll end up returning the palette. After a couple weeks I realized this is my favorite palette EXACTLY BECAUSE the colors are soft and subtle! I constantly use the browns, purples and greens (except the glitter on the bottom) and have a natural looking makeup. These shadows have a very subtle finely milled shimmer that gives you just a hint of sheen, totally daytime appropriate. Fours stars because they fall off the brush a bit during the application, but once applied they stay on all day. Also, you get less fallout and more color if you pack it on your lid with a finger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning palette I have been waiting for a palette containing green and purple hues to enhance my green eyes! The selections are fabulous - light enough for day application and dark for evening/holiday wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from London Palette Is Pretty! Received as a Valentine's Day gift & have been playing with all the colors since that day. Using a brush, I do experience fall out. Using a sponge paddle, less so. My favorites in the palette are the greens & violets. The metallic shades across the bottom are used sparingly by me. I still have to decide to either use in the inner corners for brightness or as a lower lid liner. All in all a great palette for daily use or when traveling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Colors Love the colors in this palette. They are perfect for Fall and Winter. I am a redhead and I find I am using nearly all the colors. My only issue is the slight dust. I have to use a tissue under my eye when applying.

Matte Eyeshadow

I love Lancome cosmetics, I just wish they would make an all MATTE eyeshadow pallette for us OLDER ladies!! It is getting harder to find all matte pallettes. Thank you...

Honestly, some of the colors are scary when I look at them at the counter at the department store. I'm just not that bold and do not want too much attention. I've found that many of the colors become less bright once on. Also, the stronger colors make for great lining of the eyes, when used with a good brush. For everyday wear, I'd use one of the "nuder" colors for all over coverage and then lightly add a slightly darker shade. I like Chic as one of the darker shades.

How different is this palette from Auda(city) in Paris?

Some of the colors look similar and I already own that palette. Please don't post my email address with my question. Thank you!

Auda[city] in London colors tend to be on the cooler spectrum. There are green and lilac shades and they are beautiful. The colors are definitely not similar to the Paris palette, I own both. The four colors on the bottom are glittery and meant to be applied with your fingers, and there's nothing like it in the Paris palette. The shades blend beautifully in both. I use an eye primer and the colors stay put the whole day. Overall there's more cool sparkle in this palette compared to the warmer Adacity in Paris palette.

Can we pls have this palette in Canada too, so sad we r left out.

What formula is used with this palette? I adore the color icon formula in the 5 pans. I can't think they are the same given the price difference.
