Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING! Really lasts all day! I love the Art Liner liquid liners but noticed the pigment wipes away with watery eyes so I was really excited for the 24 hour version. Sure enough, it lives up to it's name! The colors are fantastic and really does wear for a full 24 hours. Since the liner has such a long last, the only makeup remover that really does the job is Bi-Facil. Also, make sure you hold the tube in the right direction or all of your liquid will spill out! Smaller half should be at the bottom when holding vertically. My favorite colors are Black, Turquoise and Silver. The Silver is really more silver liquid liner with lavender sparkles in it -- super pretty -- but might be different than what you're expecting!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best black eyeliner for winged look I don't understand the negative reviews. This is the best liquid black eyeliner I have ever used. I do first dab the wand with a clean tissue to remove excess before applying. And I apply after my mascara so that it does not dry clumpy on my lashes prohibiting smooth mascara application. I do this with all liquid eyeliners. The color is a great dense black. It stays even if tearing in this blistery cold weather. It is the most success I have had with the "winged" outer line look. It is one of those rare products I buy ahead so I do not run out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great when used properly. This product is fantastic! It is a LIQUID eyeliner. Not a gel. So, yes, it's runny. You have to allow the excess to run off the applicator before taking it to your eye. Then it will not get into your eye and burn. When it's brand new and full, you may have to run the tip along the inside edge of the tube to help remove the excess. A little goes a long way. It's very opaque, when you shake it up first. If you get watery color, it's not shaken up enough. It's not easy to remove. That's fine, it is 24 hour eyeliner after all. That being said, it comes off with bi facil with about the same effort waterproof mascara requires. It does come off flaky, but again, you're simply releasing it from your skin, not dissolving it. If it dissolved that easily, it wouldn't be 24 hour wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous! I purchased this product because I love the Artliner in black, and it works so well, and the staying-power is amazing, so I wanted a liquid liner in color. I purchased the turquoise (which is more a bright, deep green on the eyes), and I am just as impressed with this product as the Artliner in black. Wow! I apply the black as a cat-eye, then apply the turquoise on top to give it that little extra edge. It is so beautiful! And again, it lasts all day, even through my seasonal allergies. I absolutely recommend this product. It is a bit pricey, but worth it. It doesn't dry out, and the precision tip makes it easy to be creative. Thanks, Lancome, for making such a great liner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from really lasts 24 hours This eyeliner is the only one that really lasts! I work long hours and travel long distances and it lasts and is smear proof even after I have had it on for 24 hours and fallen asleep on a plane. Still perfect. Some of the other reviews were not as positive but if you want something that really lasts, I promise you this is the best there is! I find it goes on easily and have had no problems with it at all. In addition, the copper color really makes my blue eyes pop like no other color I have used!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not impressed, sticking with regular art liner I'm not impressed with the 24hr art liner. I've used the regular art liner for years and absolutely loved it, so I thought 24 hr could only be better. This is not the case. First, the colors are much brighter. Where I typically use amethyst in art liner, amethyst in 24 hr is much brighter and just looks straight purple, which isn't really what I wanted. But I'm up to trying new colors, so I tried it anyways. Compared to the regular art liner, it is almost impossible to get a nice thin line. Also, this stuff turns kind of vinyl after drying, which I thought was pretty cool at first. But the slightest moisture or too many facial expressions and the stuff rolls up. Also, if you make a mistake, it's almost possible to correct without a makeup remover and completely starting the eye over. I love the art liner, but this 24 hr version just isn't good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great olors, but buy the normal Artliner instead As others have described, Artliner 24H is difficult to remove and clumps together if you accidentally rub your eye. (Of course, if you rub your eye, you're going to ruin your eye makeup regardless, but I've had more issues with the Artliner 24H than other eyeliners.) The color is absolutely GORGEOUS, though. I have the copper version, which is beautifully pigmented and metallic. So unless you really love the specific color, do yourself a favor and buy the normal Artliner. Trust me, the normal Artliner has excellent lasting power and none of the annoyances of this product. If you're concerned about sweating off your eye makeup, my normal Artliner eyeliner looked fine after hours of dancing in a warm environment. No worries there!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wish I liked this product more. But the cons outweight the pros for me. Pros: 1 The color is a nice, pewtery green.; 2 If you like a thick line, it works well. 3 Mostly the line stays on*. Cons: 1 The product spills. Yesterday morning I accidentally opened it upside down and lost half the product; 2 Lines are difficult to draw thin; 3 Product removal is not easy. The substrate is kind of rubbery, and it kind of balls up or pulls up when you try to take it off even with makeup remover. Tough to completely clean off.; 4 Similarly, if you want it to stay put* don't accidentally rub your eye at all. It will start to ball up and can pull off parts of the rest of the line. I wish Lancome still offered green in their regular Artliner product. It is a much better product in general.

Why is the Bronze Artliner 24H not listed?

Is the Bronze Artliner not going to be carried any longer? Truly it was my favorite color out of the bunch... made my eye color totally pop out! I seriously will freak out if you guys are disconnecting it! :,( Please please please bring it back, even if there are some defective ones lying around I will buy them! Please let me know. Best Regards, edie

Lancome frequently changes colors on us without telling us why. I know sometimes they bring a particular shade back, if it's popular enough. It isn't listed, as you say, and only the real executives know why. Cheer up ,though, this is your chance to try something new you might not have ever tried if this hadn't happened. I had a similar situation regarding the shade "grape" in art liner. I tried it, loved it, used it for years and then it was suddenly gone. Do some research, maybe there is another shade you can learn to love just as much as bronze.

Does ARTLINER 24H really live up to the "24 Hour Wear" claims? Especially for WATERY eyes.

I haven't been able to find a waterproof liquid liner in a FELT TIP PEN that doesn't dissolve due to my watery eyes. Products that are waterproof will stay put with water or soap, but not tears. Does ARTLINER 24H really live up to the "24 Hour Wear" claims---especially for WATERY eyes. I want a FELT TIP Waterproof-Tear proof eyeliner that lasts through frequent dabbing of tears for 12+hour shift. I currently use a waterproof gel eyeliner that is water & tear proof---I want a felt tip liner that doesn't dissolve with chronic watery eyes.
Asked by: Almondiyz
I had a watery eye for a few years, so I can answer this confidently. I would say that the tears themselves wouldn't dissolve Artliner 24H, but this product can flake off in chunks, so some product might come off if you rub your eye at all.

What is the best color for green eyes?

My skin is combination, but real dry in winter. I burn easily without suntan lotion. Thank you.
Asked by: oceangirl
There is a basic guideline where the "rule" generally states that opposite colors contrast and enhance each other. So for this effect on green eyes you will want to try purple shades.

okay to use for waterline?

is it suitable to use for upper and lower waterline (inner rim)?
Asked by: sleepykoara
I applied this on my lid above the lashes, like you would traditional liner. It got in my eye and burned. I can't imagine how it would feel if I purposely applied it to my waterline. I don't recommend Artliner 24H for the waterline. :)
