Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Quality I have been buying this powder brush for about 15 years and have noticed the quality has greatly diminished. The feel is brittle and stiff and does not flex so you can get into certain areas for full coverage. I will no longer buy any brushes from Lancôme and I do not recommend this item to other shoppers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Feels Very Synthetic I am very dissapointed with this brush, especially, in comparrison with other Lancome brushes that I currently use. It feels very pokey and the powder is not spread equally on my face.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Declining Quality Does not come with a sleeve to keep bristles in place. Less soft than the ones from a few years ago. Very synthetic feeling. Will be returning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bristles come off Don't buy this brush. I purchased two of them and both had the same problem with the bristles coming off when using it. I had purchased this brush to replace a free powder brush from a Lancome gift with purchase set that I used for years. Very disappointed. Look elsewhere. I returned them. Crazy but the opposite was true of their blush brush (Dual ended cheek and contour brush). I'm very pleased with that brush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Powder Brush I am so glad I decided to buy this powder brush. It is soft and very easy to use. The powder goes on beautifully with this brush. I would definitely recommend it.

What is the difference between Powder Brush #1 & Cheek Brush?

I got LE PARISIAN HOLIDAY CASE and it brings a Cheek Brush, but it seems to be the same or very similar to the Powder Brush #1 here. Any ideas what is the difference? In the tutorial videos on this site, they used the Cheek Brush for powdering and even countouring.
Asked by: DevotedNovice
While a powder brush may have more bristles, they are more loosely packed for the purpose of diffusing a light dusting of powder evenly over a larger area of the face. A cheek or blush brush has more compact bristles and is meant for more concentrated application such as the apples of the cheek.

How do you clean Powder Brush #1 (natural brustles)?

Asked by: DDDDD
I use baby shampoo & make sure it reaches the bottom of the bristles so all powder is removed. I use warm water & a plastic cup so I can swirl the brush around in the soapy water. Rinse well until the water runs clear. Pat dry the brush & reshape the bristles. Let dry on its side completely before using again. If used daily, try to clean the brush at minimum every 2 weeks. A clean brush also lets you use less product & helps prevent breakouts from bacteria found on your skin.
