Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well, this is interesting! I read the other reviews here about the black dye bleeding out of this brush so I washed it in a small cup soaking it in a soap and there was absolutely no bleeding of the dye! I wonder if the brush I have has been changed so this does not happen. This brush does a good job with my pressed face powder which is what I bought it for. Since there is no dye bleeding I will continue to use it. Glad there isn't a problem with that for me!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't really use it and it bleeds First I barely use this brush, I have plenty of other brushes (that I got MUCH) cheaper and work a lot better. Secondly every time I clean this brush or even get the brush slightly wet it starts to bleed I decided. I decided to just soak it in a little tub of water and after about half and hour the water was a deep DEEP blue. I suggest 1. Don't get the brushes with the black bristles and 2. Find a cheaper brush, there are plenty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FAVORITE BRUSH I purchased this brush when I tried to use mineral powder. Didn't like the mineral powder but kept the brush. I use it with my compact powder for that light matte finish. It does a wonderful job. This is a second one that I purchase to keep with my travel makeup bag so I will never have to remember to keep transferring the brush. I Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great brush! I've had this brush for going on 6 years and it has been excellent. I usually do use it with a bronzer, but I also use it with face powders and to blend blushes more. Cleaning it at least weekly does make a big difference. The brush is not too fluffy, but not too stiff, somewhere in between. The hairs are very very soft. If it were to break, I'd probably purchase this brush again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for any powder This brush performs well with an all over powder, pressed or loose. It is also a good brush for bronzer. I did try it with a liquid foundation, but it's too fluffy and it did not perform very well. Unlike the other reviewers, it did not bleed!!! So yes, I do recommend this brush because it's great!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great brush! The larger powder brush felt not quite soft enough for powdering lightly over my foundation, so I bought this brush, which is much softer, and use it for my powder brush. I did discover that the actual powder brush makes a great bronzer brush, so it all worked out! I like the shorter handle on this one too. I feel like it gives me more control with my powder.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Black Dye Problem Sorry, but I find the BLACK BRISTLE BRUSH to be full of black dye. I have owned this brush for a few years. and the brush continues to bleed black whenever washed. Hence I hate using it because I question the black dye being used on my face! Plus, I wash my brushes more than once I am NOT EXAGGERATING the black dye problem. I finally purchased another brand brush trashed this brush. Sorry Lancome, but I just don't see why you need to offer high end brushes that are laced in black dye. Can't possibly be good to use on facial skin.

How do I use a Bronzer Brush??

Asked by: Audrey R
Hi there! It depends on what you are using this Bronzer Mineral Brush for. If you are using it to apply a bronzer, it is recommended to sweep over on the spots that are naturally hit by the sun: the forehead, top of the nose, along the cheekbones, and jawline. If you are using this to apply a mineral powder, you can use this brush for all over the face. We hope you find this information to be helpful!

Is this brush made out of natural hair or synthetic hair? Because I bought it on HSN and on there it claims to be natural hair but I don't think it is. It looks and feels completely different than the #1 powder brush so I am thinking synthetic not natural
