At the 2022 Emmy Awards Lancôme ambassadress Zendaya took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series. Wearing a beautiful strapless black gown and big hair Zendaya’s makeup was kept sultry and sophisticated. Zendaya’s makeup artist Sheika Daley described the look: “Inspired by the dress and hairstyle for tonight, we wanted to create a soft, sculpted eye with a muted, nude lip.” – Sheika Daley, Celebrity Makeup Artist.

How to Get Zendaya’s Emmy Awards Makeup Look

Zendaya Skincare Preparation

Prior to makeup application makeup artist Sheika Daley got Zendaya’s skin red carpet ready using many of the products include in Zendaya’s previous Emmys look and her Oscars look in 2021. Firstly Daley gave skin a boost of hydration with Lancôme Advanced Génifique Hydrogel Sheet Mask designed to hydrate skin whilst boosting radiance. After using the mask Daley applied Lancôme Advanced Génifique Face Serum for extra hydration and radiance before moisturizing the under eye are and priming the skin using Lancôme Advanced Génifique Eye Cream. Finally, Daley moisturized skin with our Lancôme Absolue Revitalizing & Brightening Soft Cream to help lock in hydration.

Zendaya Emmy Awards Face Makeup and Foundation

After using skincare to prep the skin Daley created a base using our range of complexion products. To help improve the wear time of makeup and smooth over the skin Daley prepped the skin with Lancôme Priming Serum to create the optimal canvas to begin makeup application before applying Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care & Glow Foundation in 405W as a base. Perfect for creating a natural glow with foundation this serum infused formula of our classic Teint Idole Foundation, this foundation provides a 24-hour healthy glow with buildable medium coverage. To provide additional coverage to areas like the dark circles Daley applied Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer in 335 and also added a little of a lighter shade to help highlight the t-zone. For a matte finish to the foundation and to lock everything into place Daley set the rest of the skin with Lancôme Dual Finish Powder Foundation in 345 & 370.

To add a pop of color to the cheeks Daley applied Lancôme Blush Subtil Powder Blush in Absolutely Happy.

Zendaya Emmy Awards Eye Makeup

Zendaya’s eye makeup for the Emmy Awards was elegant, sophisticated and very much reminiscent of the siren eyeliner trend.

First Daley used the Lancôme Hypnôse 5-Color Eyeshadow Palette in Taupe Craze to create definition to the eyes, starting off by applying the lightest shade as a base for the eye makeup look Daley deepened the crease with the darker brown shades for definition.

For the eyeliner Daley applied the Lancôme Idôle Liner to the upper lash line creating a winged eyeliner shape. The eyeliner application technique teamed with Zendaya’s almond shaped eyes helps to create a look similar to the siren eyeliner trend.

To finish off the look Daley applied two coats of Lancôme Le 8 Hypnôse Mascara for lashes with sculptural volume.

With Zendaya having enviable brows, Daley made sure to groom them and accentuate them by applying Lancôme Brow Shaping Powdery Pencil in Brown.

Zendaya Emmy Awards Lipstick

To complement the rest of Zendaya’s Emmy Award makeup Daley went for a lip that took on the brown lipstick trend by applying Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick in 118 French Coeur – a warm reddish-brown shade all over the lips. To add dimension, gloss, and shine she then applied Lancôme Juicy Tubes in Hallucination just to the center of the lips to create a plumper looking pout and a soft golden sheen.
