Born and raised in New York City, Elettra is a student and model. When she isn’t walking the runway, working with top photographers or traveling for Lancôme, she can be found at college in Manhattan studying politics, history and economics. Elettra’s lust for life comes through the moment you meet her, and it’s no surprise this modern young woman is as passionate as she is beautiful. Elettra is the daughter of actress and icon Isabella Rossellini, who was a Lancôme spokesmodel for 14 years, and the granddaughter of film industry legends Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini.
Like her mother, Wiedemann never planned on becoming a model. When she was 15, a family acquaintance suggested she give modeling a try. Her first booking was for German Vogue and she has since worked with such respected photographers as Bruce Weber, Nathaniel Goldberg, Pamela Hanson, Ellen von Unwerth and Fabrizzio Ferri.
Wiedemann, who is fluent in English, Italian and French, says the best part of her job is the travel. "It’s such an amazing opportunity to be exposed to other cultures through work," she says.
