Tried two Lancome moisturizes at the counter: Absolue caused a reaction, itchy, deeper wrinkles! So odd!!! But Nutrix was fab, immediate soothing and wrinkle reduction. Love this one: it feels "heavier" on the tip of the fingers, rather than foamy, but smoothes into the skin and lasts all day, leaving a soft skin and fewer wrinkles. Finally, something to beat dry winter air and dry skin. Have loved Lancome for decades, but was beginning to lose hope about getting just the right skin cream.

I have very dry skin. In the past, I would have to apply heavy moisturizers before putting on makeup, and my face would still end up dry and flaky by mid-afternoon. But when I use this, I have no issues all day. My face feels dewy and moisturized, without any greasiness. Plus the smell is the best!!!

I bought this product based on reviews and the "lipid" building benefit. I am a first-time Lancome product user, and decided to splurge on the cost to buy a good product. Unfortunately, this product failed to impress me.
It smelled nice, but at the end of the day, my eyes began to burn to the point where I was forced to wash my face desperate for some relief...the burning stopped after my face was washed, so it was from the moisturizer. Not sure why exactly, as I was careful to not apply the product too close to my eyes. I don't wear any makeup, and when I do, I get the same reaction to wearing eyeliner and mascara. So, perhaps I have sensitive eyes/skin.
The other thing I didn't like is this product never seemed to absorb into my skin. It was very "topical" and never felt like it completely dried or absorbed. Instead, it seemed to just sit on the surface of my skin. In fact, after it "dried," I could rub it off with my finger and it would roll into clumps...hmm...if a product is absorbed into the skin properly, I don't think this would happen. And I tested this literally hours after application.
I tried this product for only 4 days, and I'm returning it. Thank you Lancome for providing a refund for the returned items. I was very pleased with the level of customer service regarding the issue.

I have been without my Nutrix for r2 weeks... and my skin is a mess. absolue makes me itch and my eyes tear.. I have extremely dry skin and have suffered my whole life with it and this is the First and Only thing that has helped.. Its worth the price..

My skin feels wonderful after one application. I had used lancome for my very dry skin in the past and started to try other cheaper options but couldn't find anything to help me through the winters. I got tired of dry, tight skin that looked aged. I am sticking with Lancome, this stuff is amazing!

I live in Minnesota so it is cold and the air is dry. I have skin that is flaky by the end of the day but I don't consider my skin extremely dry. In fact, I have a normal to oily T-zone and am more dry over the cheeks and along the jaw line.
