I am all about the texture when it comes to moisturizers and Absolue Premium BX is my favorite. It is a rich, intense cream; a little goes a long way. No need to slather it on. It isn't thick or oily, though, and it absorbs fairly quickly, leaving my face very soft and smooth looking after applying. I have tried other brands and other Lancome moisturizers, but this one is definitely tops. The only negative is that it is quite expensive. At least I don't feel the need to use a serum with it since it is so rich. Love, love, love.

I received a one ounce jar of the product during the holidays. I really enjoyed the light moisturizer under my makeup, but I think it's important to note that I didn't notice any major results until around the 40th day, it was like the wow effect! My skin was much more radiant, youthful, and my fine lines had diminished but the big effect for me was that my skin was glowing. I would recommend this product to anyone. I appreciate the integrity of Lancôme and the quality they put into their products.

I have been using Lancome since I began working at my first career in 1979. Today, I use Lancome Absolue as my primary moisturizer. I am 53 years old and I get compliments from strangers and even from my great nephews. When I was traveling in India, the young children wanted to touch the skin on my face. I know I have been graced by God with many gifts and I feel blessed to have such a complexion as one of HIS gifts. I also know it is the smile that I give others that is the true gift not my skin. Still, I appreciate the high quality of Lancome Absolue -- it consistently allows me to moisturize the "gift" of my Irish ivory complexion.

Since trying this product, I have not found another moisturizer that I would use, other than perhaps the absolue precious cells. It keeps my face moisturized even in the desert sun and wind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by puregreen I got this cream for a gift and when I opened it, I like the fragrance immediately. The texture is smooth and non-greasy. The cream is thin but it moisturizes the skin well. Good absorption.
The only con is it is too expensive. I'd rather buy other lancome product and get this for gift when possible than buying it individually.

Can this be worn as daily cream even if u r inside most of the day since it contain sunscreen?

Yes, I have read that indoor lights, particularly fluorescent lights, contain UV light that can damage skin. Unless you have a sensitivity to sunscreen, you should apply a formula like Absolue Premium BX that contains a little sunscreen for everyday use, and if you are going to be outdoors with your face exposed to sunlight for more than 15 minutes, apply another sunscreen product on top of that. (I have very fair skin and wish I would have started using sunscreen every day years ago!)Gender: Female

Using a product with sunscreen remains effective as sun glare and damage may also be received while driving, sitting near windows, and brief exposure to the outdoor elements. Reflections from water areas near home or work may also contribute to sun damage. Of course. The recommendation to use sunscreen daily even if you work inside is that while you to travel to work and back, working near windows you still can be exposed to UV. The sunscreeen in the day cream is SPF 15 which is not too much.Gender: Female

It works somehow, I have sun spots on my forehead from sun and birth control, in summer are worst but in winter are less noticeable. I use Absolue premium bx every day. Although I cannot tell for sure how will impact your age spots, it has many other benefits for mature skin.Gender: Female

Although I think your samples are meant for daytime, you can use them day or night as long as they don't contain sunscreen; if they do contain sunscreen, you should use them only during the day. Daytime moisturizer should be applied before your makeup. At night, you would apply the moisturizer after cleansing your face. You don't need to use the two samples together since they each do the same thing, but if you wanted to do that for some reason, I don't think there would be any problem other than you'd be applying too much moisturizer. Try to obtain a serum sample if you'd like to use 2 products together. I really love Visionnaire.Gender: Female

I would not use them together. That's too much moisture cream. Although, moisterizing is essential, too much moisterization can actually dry out your skin. I would use the Absolue Premium Bx during the day because it has sunscreen in it. It is ok to use a moisterizer with sunscreen in it even if you will be indoors. Remember, most moisterizers that contain sunscreen are never enough protection to begin with. You still need to apply a separate sunscreen over the moisterizer for adequate coverage. I would use the High Resolution 3x at night.Gender: Female

It may seem wasteful to use them together. A more suitable approach to testing your samples may be to use one in the AM hours under your make up and the other at night for that refreshed look upon arising. I have used the High Resolution 3x for day wear. Check the product for sunscreen protection which would not be necessary for night time use. Is the Absolue moisturizer good for a specific age , is it too heavy for 32 year old skin. I've been using High resolution for 5 years now and want to switch to something different just because I think my skin needs that extra something now.

Absolue may be a little to rich for you at age 32, unless you have very dry skin. I would try Bienfait Multi-vital first before trying Absolue. Have you thought about trying Rénergie? That was my go-to moisturizer for several years until I felt I wanted the richer Absolue formula.Gender: Female

I use Absolue and am only 30. I've never found it to be too heavy. I use it over the Genifique serum and my skin is instantly dewy and soft. The Bienfait is going to be more of a basic moisturizer. It's a great product, but if you're wanting extra oomph, go for the Absolue.Gender: Female

Even at two decades beyond your age, I find it beneficial to change the line of Lancome treatments I use depending on the time of year. For example, I tend to need a lighter moisturizer during the summer, and I have found the Bienfait line to be quite effective for my skin. The products in this line seem to deliver the right amount of moisture and nutrients, and my skin looks great. Given your age, my suggestion would be to start with Bienfait and then see whether you need to move to Absolue, which also is a fabulous line. I often use that or the Renergie line in colder weather.Gender: Female
