I have combination skin. It is very oily in some parts and very dry in other parts. This moisturizer soothes my dry skin without making my oily skin worse. It goes on matte and keeps shine at bay longer than others. I like that is also feels light while giving such a moisturizing effect, which is important during the day. Although, I love using Absolue Premium Bx at night, since it is thicker. My skin seems to absorb it better overnight. The SPF in Beinfait is wonderful for people who have very fair skin. Unless you are swimming or very active outside, it is all the sunblock I need. My skin burns easily too, but I can be outside for a bit with just this and not burn.

In warmer weather, my combination skin requires lighter protection. Bienfait Multivital SPF 30 Cream not only provides the right amount of moisture, but it also protects my skin from harmful effects of daily sun exposure. The texture and light fragrance are wonderful, too. Love it!

Any time I have ever asked my mom about skincare, she's always replied with Lancome. My beautiful Italian grandmother was also an avid Lancome user, never turning to any other brand when it came to her skin. I am 22, and I want to protect my skin as much as I can. I finally decided to go up to a Lancome counter a couple days ago, and I cannot say how happy I am. I got a foundation, a foundation brush and this. My skin is sensitive and this lotion leaves it soft and supple, hydrated all day. I live in a very dry state, and this leaves my skin beautiful. I was looking for sun protection and antioxidants, so this is the perfect product. I put it on after the shower, a little goes a very long way. When it comes to Lancome, I know I can trust my skin to it.

I initially received this product as a deluxe sample from Sephora and I fell in love with it. Although my skin is normally oily, I have no problem using this product. It does not feel greasy or sticky and it does EXACTLY what it says it will...moisturize. It's a bit pricey but this is my moisturizer from here on out.

I became a Lancome customer in the mid-80's. I thought this product was available back then, but the earliest research I can find on it is from 1994. Regardless, my skin is radiant with very few wrinkles at all and I just turned 58. People are shocked when they find out my age. It is all due to this product, used EVERY DAY for the past 18+ years. It used to be an SPF 12 ?...then went to 15, then 30. I also used the companion eye sunscreen for years..then it was discontinued..but now it's back. As to the greasy feeling some people have reported..this is a cream you apply right out of the shower while your skin is still damp. Then you go make coffee or what have you and wait a bit to put makeup on. It all soaks in and protects your skin all day. If you are new to the product, be patient while your skin gets used to it --excluding severe unusual allergic reactions of course--which fortunately I never had. Thank you Lancome for a fantastic product!

For an overall evened complexion, I would recommend Renergie Eclat Multi-Lift. It's a moisturizer, firmer, lifter, skin-tone evening illuminator in one. In fact, you can use it on top of Bright Expert. Top with your favorite foundation for a more full-coverage look and you're good to go! They are both great for dry skin and are both light whereas other dry skin moisturizers can be heavy. The biggest difference is that Bienfait Multi Vital has SPF while Aqua Vital does not. Both serve their purpose. With an SPF of 30, Multi Vital is all you need to apply (unless you are going swimming, another strenuous outdoor activity or will be outside for many hours. If you are, you should either keep reapplying it or apply a water resistant sunblock designed for your face. Aqua Vital has no SPF, so you will need to apply a separate sunblock even for short trips outside (as you should always wear it even if only being out for a short period). The benefit of a separate sunblock comes in handy for those sensitive to some chemicals. You can use a moisturizer with no SPF, then get an organic sunblock if that is the case. I would not suggest refraining from sunblock altogether as even the most allergic can find something that works, even short trips in the car give your skin exposure, and even the darkest skin can be damaged from the sun. There are no excuses. Now, I just need my husband to understand that.Gender: Female

You could use most any Bienfait product for day use, but the Multi-Vital is designed for day use with its SPF 30 protection for your face. My dermatologist recommends a 30 for facial day protection, whether the sun is out or not. When driving, remember that the left side of your face and neck gets constant sun damage. Protect, protect, protect. Absolue Premium βx has 15 SPF. If you choose that lotion, re-apply more often.Gender: Female
