I love Lancome products in general more than almost any other brand. This mascara is middle of the road compared to other Lancome mascaras, but better at lengthening than other brands I have used. It added a moderate amount of length and scant volume. GREAT staying power. No smudging at all. No flaking at all.

I admit; I am a mascara junkie. Years ago, I tried all kinds from the very expensive ones to the drugstore variety and kept coming back to L'Extreme. Now, it's the only one I buy. Long fluttery lashes is my idea of sexy beautiful and Lancome's L'Extreme mascara delivers. What I love about L'Extreme is that that the brush lifts and separates the lashes for a long lacy look. It isn't heavy and most definitely makes lashes longer.
I hope Lancome does NOT discontinue this product. (I remember Stylocils......miss it!)

I am not happy with this item at all. You have to use a lot of it to get any color and it doesn't lengthen at all.

I just love this mascara! when I wear it, I get so many compliments on how lovely my eyes look. I was even asked if I had false eyelashes on! It is amazingly awesome and I would recommend it to everybody, I would like to try the waterproof too. Thanks Lancome for helping me look my best!

Hello! I purchased an extending mascara a couple of years ago from another company and it had fibers in it to extend the lashes out, It was miserable!!!!!!!!! While applying that mascara the fibers were falling into my eyes and making them turn bright red and tears were pouring out. I had to flush my eyes out, wash my entire face, and cancel my dinner plans. If this mascara does this at all, even just a tiny bit please tell me. I have very sensitive eyes in the 1st place, I can't do anything extra to make it worse. So if I can't use this I'll stick to the 'Doll' lashes mascara instead. But if you all feel this would work for me I'd be thrilled to try it. My lashes are too short!!

I love this mascara!!! I would recommend sticking with Doll, BUT adding the Extreme to tip off your lash ends. The fibers have NEVER fallen out on me. I also have very sensitive eyes and have never had any trouble with Lancome mascaras. I will recommend adding a booster. The booster will allow and extra surface for the mascara fibers to cling to. It will also help protect your lashes from breakage.Gender: Female
