My last two purchases have been disappointing; the sponge applicator came off in the container, leaving me with no choice but to use a q tip for application. Yuk. Shouldn't happen with a product from Lancome so I am not going to purchase this anymore. 12/25/12

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Concealer... LOVE IT! This is by far the best concealer I have found. And I've searched for years. I use the light buff during the winter and it matches perfectly with my medium skin tone. I just ordered a darker color for summer, hope I guessed right. I love the texture. This concealer does not cake up or settle into fine lines and wrinkles like so many other brands I have tried. And it stays in place for a long time. No re-applying throughout the day or evening. Very happy... love it! 5/2/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great lip base I have used the correcteur concealer on my lips for years. People always ask me how does my lipstick and my lipgloss last so long. I always tell me it's because of this product. I find it to thick for under eye correcting, but as lip corrector to make lipstick true to color....this is it and the bonus......it makes lipstick or gloss stay on longer. 3/28/12

So many concealers actually "shine" through the foundation when taking photographs - particularly photos that require flash. Many photos look as if I have complete consealer circles around my eyes.... Looking for one that is "photogenic" if you will.

Answer: 
Concealer should look natural. Too light of a shade will create that "circle" around your eyes. Use the Flash Retouche concealer pen and choose a shade closest to your own skin tone. Don't apply foundation to the eye area where concealer will be applied. This concealer has a highlighting effect and brightens the eye area without looking like you are wearing concealer. If you cannot find a shade in this pen formula, then use a shade of the Maquicomplet and pick a shade of the Flash Retouch to apply over the Macquicomplet.

I note you say shine through your foundation. Ok this means you are applying prior to foundation ? If so do a reverse and use a light app of your foundation, then use your concealer. You may find this method will give you more options on just how much concealer you need.
I always say the inner area of your eye and nose is the place to apply concealer as it gives a lifting affect, and less concealer under the eye keeps the eye area more alert, apply your concealer in the inner bridge of the eye using your ring finger as a warming effect lay it and do not move it fron this area, then go drectly to the outer corner and do the same staying away from the under eye, my fav now is R MULTI LIFT-It is absolutly amazing- The last trick i use is to apply a nude coral blush above the cheek bone ,directly above the blush line and just allow it to meet .YOUR EYES WILL pop, AND ALL THE PHOTO FLASHES WILL NOT EFFECT. dO LET US KNOW IF YOU FIND THIS WORKS ? boybeauty

Maquicomplet-Correcteur will tone down any redness, or purple tones to the skin. If your dark circles are of a purple color this will tone them down significantly. Pat on Correcteur to the dark circles. Set lightly with powder, then top with your natural shade of concealer and continue on with your regular makeup routine.
