Rated 5 out of 5 by Best lip liner ever I am obsessed with this. I am always buying new colors, so I have more of these than lipsticks. Crazy, I know. Spiced Apple is the only color I own that I am not overly fond of, since I have cool undertones and it must have a warm one. This glides on so effortlessly. It is creamy, so it blends easily. Despite being creamy for a pencil (which my lips appreciate), it has great staying power. My liner outlasts my lipstick every time. Thanks to blending, I never look like someone who lined her lips and forgot to fill it in with lipstick. Sometimes, I even fill in my entire lips in with liner, so it still has a full lipstick look long after the lipstick fades. You cannot do that with most liners, because your lips would feel too dry. The creaminess of this liner never leaves a dry feeling. 6/10/13

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great color I bought the nude sheer natural color. It matched my lip color perfectly. Although the service I received was bad but that is irrelevant to the product. My only criticism is it's way too expensive for a lip pencil. And I have no use for that brush thing in the end. I would prefer this to be a mechanical pencil as well. 6/1/12

Le Lipstique is a great lip liner - glides like silk, stays put, prevents lipstick bleeding ,and allows you to create several different lip looks. However, the plastic caps are a bust. I gave this product 3 stars and a low value rating because of the caps. They split soon after purchasing the lip pencils, they fall off the pencil and altoghether look cheap. Please bring the metal caps back. I regret to write this but I find it sad that Lancome offers a great product with such shoddy caps. I expect so much better from Lancome. Thank you! 1/12/12

Yes. The Lancôme sharpener works so well with this pencil that I would never try using a different sharpener. You get the most value from your liner by using a sharpener that barely takes any of liner away. I've heard from others that they have to sharpen a lot (wasting valuable product) when using a different sharpener.

I bought a sharpener right from the counter at Dillard's in the mid nineties. It was still in decent shape (I do not wear makeup anywhere near as much as the average woman). However, I decided recently to replace all of my old tools. New brushes were easy to find but I had a harder time finding a sharpener. I eventually found one at Lord and Taylor online.

You do not need a special sharpener. Pencil is average standard size.

Hello Janetlou, I have done a quick search on the Lancome web site and can find no reference to the above item, but that does not mean that it is being discontinued. Having said that, chances are that there may be a colour that is similar to the one that you are currently using.
