Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Product Ever Lancome makes a lot of great products. This is my favorite. It works as well wet as it does dry. I mostly use dry it on top of foundation when getting ready at the house. Living in Vegas (hot), I hate carrying foundation with me for touch ups. If I need more than a powder touch up while out, I just wet the sponge and am good to go. It feels great on the skin whereas some products feel dry. Takes away shine in an instant when used dry. If you want a natural look (with a little help), this really is the only product you need to own. I love the way it smells too unlike my cc cream from another brand. I will be trying the Regenerie tinted moisturizer once said cc cream is gone. 6/10/13

Dual finish gives me the complete coverage regardless if I'm preparing for a work day, social event or an evening out on the town. This was my first time trying Dual Finish and it took me a while to find the right shade because I was used to other brands that go on and get darker throughout the day. So ladies, including dark skin tones like myself, this product really does stay true to color! What I put on in the morning is exactly what I take off at night. It's amazing! Also I want to thank the Lancome counter lady at Dillard's in North Charleston because she was so patient and sweet, helping me find the perfect match. Great customer service! 4/4/13

I would suggest the Matte Buff II (C) shade. This will go best will the 220 Buff C Foundation you wear. Hope this helps.

If you wear 220 Buff (C) in the new Tient Idole Ultra 24H formula, I would try Dual Finish in either Matte Clair II (C) or Matte Buff II (C). These shades are very similar, with Matte Clair II (C) being just a tiny bit lighter. They are also both cool undertone shades, and so is your Tient Idole Ultra. A cool undertone means the skin looks more pink than yellow or olive. If you want to brighten a dull or sallow complexion, try Matte Rose Clair II (C) which has a very cool undertone and pink base.

When it comes to foundation and powder, ALWAYS go to the counter when selecting shades. If you order without first trying the color, be prepared for [multiple] returns before you settle on the correct color. That said, you can try Matte Buff II but there are no guarantees.

I am fair with perhaps a slight redish tint vs porcelin white and in other dual finish compacts I wear #1 buff. You have so many colors. Do I need to go to a department store to check them out before I can order or can your recommend something?

Go to a Lancome counter. Even if the trip is inconvenient, it's worth the time. Never purchase foundation or powder without first trying. Otherwise, be prepared for multiple returns/exchanges.

Both Matte Porcelaine I and Matte Porcelaine Delicate I are very fair shades with a cool underdone (red or pink tones, instead of yellowish tones). Matte Buff II and Matte Clair II are medium-fair shades with cool undertones. Matte Rose Clair II has a strong cool undertone, hence
"rose" in the name. Your best match will always be achieved by trying on these shades at your local Lancome Counter, but if you can use these suggestions as a guide.

Always, always, always go to your local Lancome counter for this. Whenever you are selecting a shade of foundation, you should always look at the shades in person. It is very difficult to do this when seeing the shades on a computer because the colors are not accurate. Foundations, whether they are liquid or powder, need to be tested on you before purchasing.

shop at JCPenney yesterday the dual and the guy who served me told me it was non-comedogenic. I can not use products that are comedogenic because I have acne and am in treatment with a dermatologist.
