I've worn Tresor for almost 20 years, so this is huge!!! At first I didn't care for it, just smelling it on the scent paper in the department store. But after receiving a sample of the product I absolutely fell in love with it! For me to change to La Vie Est Belle is a truly lovely change and I get as many, if not more compliments than or while I wore Tresor, which I still adore. I wish Lancome would come out with a body creme. The lotion is not moisturizing enough for me, and I feel the lotion sets the base for the perfume and makes it last longer without overpowering those around me. I do love the scented lotion, just put it in a thicker creme formula please!!

Okay, I guess if you buy a product online and in the store three times in a year, you probably really love it! Right? Absolutely! I love, love, love this scent. It's so soft and pretty -- makes me feel pretty. I get tons of compliments! I layer this with the perfume and it lasts all day!

This was my selection with my gift, rather than Tresor because I think it's horrible too. I thought I'd try this and have only used it once to find that the scent is full on body odor!
It literally made my stomach sick and I washed my hands immediately to get it off.
Would never, ever buy this fragrance or try it again.

I have the La Vie Est Belle perfume and it is lovely. The body lotion is greasy and smells like "menthol". Very disappointing. Very medicinal. Not like Lancome at all. Choose another unless you feel a head cold coming on.

La vie est belle is my new favorite perfume! It's warm, sweet, and long-lasting. Usually, the body creams/lotions match the perfume exactly, but this one is a tad different from the perfume itself (for me, anyway).
There is a nice androgyny about this accompanying body lotion - I think it's the patchouli and some sort of citrus note; orange blossom perhaps? - that really makes the feminine notes of the perfume pop. Some women may not like that contrast.
