This easy-to-clean, synthetic bristled brush is the perfect partner to all liquid foundations. The tapered edge blends liquid makeup for a natural, even look. Brush hairs are softer, and have a more graduated tip for even, controlled blending.

How to use:
Apply a small amount of liquid foundation onto the back of your hand. Using the flat side of the brush, apply to areas that need coverage, beginning in the area between the nose and cheek. Turn the brush over and, without adding any additional product, finish blending with downward strokes. Repeat the process on the rest of the face.

Backstage Beauty Tip:
Use one side to apply the foundation and keep the other side “clean” of product to blend. If you can’t see the grey
bristles, you have too much foundation on your brush!

I had been using a sponge to apply foundation for almost 20 years, and I didn't think a brush would work as well as a sponge. I was wrong. This brush is foolproof, so easy to apply and blend. The shape of the bristles is what makes it stand out from other foundation brushes. I use it to apply La Base, then Teint Idole over that. My skin looks so smooth. It comes with a little plastic cover that you can put over the brush when not using. It helps to prolong the life of your foundation, because you don't have to use as much. Worth it! 5/10/13

Ideally brushes should be cleaned once a week. Oil and makeup build up on them quickly and this will keep them fresh and will make them last much longer.

Be sure to use a mild cleanser, I use baby shampoo. Lay them flat to dry.

If your brush has lost its original shape and has gotten "bushier", then it is time to buy a new one. I have had mine for 3 years now and it is still in perfect shape. The trick is to clean them once a week with a mild shampoo, ( I use baby shampoo),and let them air dry while laying flat.
