Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Lancome's Best I bought the desert primrose and I absolutely hate it. The texture and scent are pleasant, I just find that it dries my lip out A LOT. I need to constantly reapply. Also, the desert primrose has zero color. For what it is, it's waaay overpriced and this is coming from someone who hasn't bought drugstore beauty items in years. 6/28/12
Rated 3 out of 5 by Doesn't Live Up To Its Claims I wanted to love Hydra Balm - and I would, if it lasted for more than an hour. Sadly, this is yet another expensive lipstick that simply does not live up to its long-lasting, super-moisturizing claims. When I put this on for work in the morning, it has all but disappeared from my lips by the time I reach the office, and my commute is less than one hour. The color is great, the finish is lovely, and this does happen to be the only lip product my boyfriend actually likes kissing me in, so kudos for that. (He hates all my other "gummy, sticky," lip sticks and glosses, but really likes that this one is light and goes on smooth. Hydra Balm has some things going for it, but it's simply too expensive to have met so few of my expectations. Overall, this was a disappointment. 6/27/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Moisturizing This product feels really good on your lips! It's very soft, smooth and moisturizing. The color is quite sheer, but it makes your lips look very nice! I also LOVE that there is no odd taste! This is basically a hint of color that makes your lips feel great! I'm happy that I tried it! 6/15/12
