I have not actually used them yet. I rarely wear makeup (which is why it was time to replace my old brushes) and did not want to wait until I finally use them to write the following. Someone mentioned full size brushes. After purchasing this set, I purchased #8 and #17 separately from Macy's. All 7 brushes (the 5 in this set and the 2 from Macy's) look the same and are the same size. These are the same brushes you would get if you ordered each one separately. You basically get 5 for the price of 2, so this is a fantastic deal. If you have an issue with one or more of the brushes, my guess is you would have the same issue with each one bought separately from this set as the quality appears to be the same.

I was skeptical about buying it from the previous reviews, but I actually loved it! ALL the brushes apply makeup well and they are not cheap quality. The bag they come in is also a bonus to store and carry your brushes. It's a great set for a GREAT PRICE!

I had an issue with one of the brushes being rough it really was only one strand and one brush. Even then I use the brush constantly and if I angle it I don't feel it. I've grazed the rest against my skin and its like silk across my face. Its a great starter kit and has everything that you need. However I do suggest buying it from your local Macy's store at least at that point you can test the brushes right there and you don't have to worry about if they're gonna be rough on your skin. Also if you do have any issues with the brushes they are warrantied so you can have them replaced.

I wanted to love these brushes but there isn't anything good about them. The bristles are rough on the powder brush and eyeshadow brush. There's no way I can use them on my eyelids - it hurts! The powder brush hurts too and I don't even have sensitive skin! The powder brush sheds bristles too. I haven't tried the other brushes but I can't imagine they would be good if the two main ones aren't. Please back the old brushes!!!!

I also agree with previous comment. The brushes were not quality . I wish I could have returned them but I used them to try them out. The foundation brush was ok but I have bought better brushes for a lot less money. Very disappointed

Ive got mine about 4 months ago and imediately my powder brush started shedding , i thought it would eventually stop and it has not i am very unhappy with products shedding . My cheeck and contour brush also sheds but the one that sheds the most is the powder brush. Its irratating when im doing my makeup and the shedding of the brush hair is on my face..
