CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 43 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really works Buying a serum without sampling it first is not something I normally do. However, I really wanted to try this, and I could not find a sample anywhere. I am so glad I took the plunge. This product really works. I have some pink spots from old acne and a bothersome brown spot that appeared out of nowhere two years ago. Bright Expert is lightening both, and it has not even been a month yet. I doubt it will completely remove them, but as long as this keeps lightening them, I will keep buying this product. 6/10/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Sample That's Become A Must-Have Another sample that I received with an order - and another sample that I MUST purchase in full-size as soon as it runs out! I use it once a day, as part of my nightly routine alongside my other routine products. It feels great (you can actually feel it working into your skin), it's silky and it smells good! 4/25/13
Rated 1 out of 5 by Did not work for me I am Japanese with medium to fair skin and too many sun spots/age spots on my face. I got a sample of this not once, but twice - used it daily for two - three months and it did not do anything at all. It did not cause any side affects (did not clog pores) but it just didn't work for me. 2/20/13
Rated 2 out of 5 by Stopped Working This product worked up to a point and then stopped. I have age spots, and when I see photos of myself from a year ago, I can see that it has worked a bit. But when I look in the mirror, I can see that it has a long way to go. I have just about finished the tube. I'll be looking for a different brand. 11/24/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love Bright Expert I have been using bright expert for about a year and I absolutely love this product. I love the way it makes my skin look and feel. I mainly use it to reduce the discoloration of my acne scars. It has worked wonders on acne scars and I never want to go without it. I only wish there was an entire skincare line of the Bright Expert ( toner, cleanser, moisturizer) in America because I would definitely buy it. 11/9/12

Answer:
In addition to the mint, yeast and rose already mentioned, Bright Expert contains ellagic acid, a powerful antioxidant found in berries, and salicylic acid. Both have strong anti-inflammatory properties. Salicylic acid helps your skin naturally exfoliate. Ellagic acid is a bit more exciting and there is emerging evidence that suggests it may fight skin cancer and help prevent its development. Of course this does not mean this serum will cure or prevent cancer! The ellagic acid in Bright Expert will help break up the melanin in the epidermis responsible for dark spots. From what I've read in various scholarly articles, ellagic acid is most beneficial if your dark spots are caused by sun damage. You may not get the same results if you're trying to lighten freckles or moles, or if your dark spots are a result of hormonal fluctuations.

Answer:
Mint, yeast, Rose and an exclusive complex that Lancome calls Mela-No, which helps to break up the melanin clusters and prevent them from occurring.

I see offers from time to time on the Lancome email list to get a sample of Bright expert. You can also go to your local counter and say you heard of it and would like a sample, most of the people at the counter are really great.

Answer:
I combine this with other serums. In the morning, I use Genifique first, then this. In the evening, I use this first, then Vissionaire. My dark spot is diminishing, so I know it is working. Genifique should always go first as it does not build well with others underneath and gives immediate results. Vissionaire and Bright Expert take more time to work and can be layered over other products. You can apply your Vissionaire first if you want, but I apply it second because I want the results from Bright Expert more than Vissionaire. Some people use more than two serums at a time, but I only like to use two at a time or else I feel like I am putting too many products on my face.

Answer:
It depends.
Two of the powerhouse ingredients in Bright Expert are ellagic acid and salicylic acid. Both have anti-inflammatory properties, so if your eyes look dark because they are puffy and casting shadows, perhaps this might work. Although you'd get more benefit from a cool compress.
As we age, our capillaries near the skin's surface can become leaky and the skin around our eyes, (which is already 10 times thinner than the rest of our facial skin), thins even more, creating a sort of bruise around our eyes. If this is the cause of your dark circles, this product will most likely disappoint you as the ingredients are geared toward breaking up patches of melanin in the epidermis, not disguising bruises.

Answer:
Bright Expert certainly can help diminish the appearance of pigmentation and red spots that sometimes linger after pimples clear up. From my experience, prevention also is key, so I would recommend using Creme Radiance, a clarifying cream-to-foam cleanser not only gently but effectively dissolves impurities, but also brightens my complexion. You might follow it with Tonique Radiance Clarifying Exfoliating Toner and a lighter, greaseless moisturizer such as Bienfait Multivital with SPF during the day to guard your skin from harmful rays of the sun. There also is a Bienfait night cream to nourish your skin while you sleep. Both are noncomedogenic. I also would recommend using Exfoliance Radiance, which has a gentle exfoliant suspended in a gel, to refine pores once or twice a week. You might also consider using Pure Empreinte Masque once or twice a week. The purifying masque helps to clear up blemishes and unclog pores to help prevent new ones. This also seems to brighten my complexion. These products all have worked well for me, so I highly recommend them.
