Rated 3 out of 5 by The color (dark) does not match well to African American Skin tones. I am an African American female age 51 whom has maintain excellent skin care my entire adult life. To be 51 years of age I have always been mistaken to be in my mid thirties. I tried this product in the dark shade to reduce the darkness under my eyes. I have been using this product for two month and the darkness continues to be noticeable after use. Under make up it somewhat is noticeable and presents a presence of concealer underneath the eyes. The eye cream works well and glides on smoothly. I think Lancome needs to perfect the color a little better for women of color in order to bend the color better to enhance our features. 1/25/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent lightweight under eye cream and concealer I was in Las Vegas with my two sisters on a vacation reunion and one night one of my sisters gave me to try this awesome product since I commented to her that all the concealers Id ever had makes my under eyes line more visible with creases. I loved it and went to buy it next day. The under eye cream is very light and velvety and the concealer also but covers under eyes circles and it becomes part of your skin. No more creases under my eyes after laughing. It is just the best product I ever tried. I would never let it go. A little Pricey but totally worth it. Also the cream and concealer comes in one divided jar and that makes it easy to carry and travels. Hopefully Lancome would not discontinue the product ever I give it a 10!! 11/13/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by I really like this! I have been using this eye cream about 6 weeks. When I don't wear it, that is when it is noticeable that I am NOT wearing it. At first I thought, uh, no big deal! One day, I totally forgot to apply it to the skin around my eyes, and boy oh boy, did I notice how great it was working when I did have it on. My eye area was never a big concern for me. May be it's good genes, or that I always took care of myself. I don't have alot of money to spend but as I grow older, I believe my skin is worth investing in. The skin around my eyes appears more dewy and youthful. 9/7/12

Rated 4 out of 5 by There is not enough of the veil to equal the cream I love both products but I keep running low on the veil. I use the cream religiously and keep running out of the veil. I would love to be able to purchase just the veil separately as it is set up to sell as a refill with its two part system. When will this happen? I just can't keep buying the whole system just to keep up with the veil. I may have to select another cosmetic product because of it as much as I would not like to stop using Lancome.. 8/22/12

Any cream can be used during the day or night. Just avoid to use the veil/concealer part as that needs to be removed before going to bed.

I always use the eye cream at night. When I apply my makeup (eyeshadow) in me morning, I find that it applies easier and stays fresh longer.

hi in Georgia.Yes this can be used at night."MY ROUTINE IS : My fav way to use R/EYE MULTI ACTION is first apply a basic Lancome eye cream by patting it onto the under eye ,and onto the upper eye Brow- BROW SO AS NOT TO CAUSE THAT MORNING BLURR- Then after this I apply the R/EYE MULTI onto the upper cheek bone by patting it and patting completly around the upper cheek, and circling onto the area above the brow, FOR ME this allows the lift to began basicly where my skin would sag, as well as allowing me to use my ABSOLUE EYE- Yes it can be confusing with so many options, yet if you use it in thinking of your eye area needing support you will find the optical bone,"uppercheek" bone is basicly the area to give attention to. I hope this helps- BOYBEAUTY

in my opinion i do not see a reason why you can not use this at night after washing and cleansing your face, when we sleep our skin needs nutrients, to me any Lancome product used is like a leg up on taking care of your skin from head to toe, i would use this at night.

First you put on the cream that is on the bottom of the jar. Let it absorb for a minute and then put ON TOP the concealer that is on the top of the jar and ill give you this beautiful luminance that makes you look awake and younger

the cream that is in the jar (larger) you will apply on the eyelids and under eye areas, the veil (in small jar / in the lid-that comes in 3 shades) you will apply as a concealer usually under eye area but if you have a small imperfection- redness, broken capillary...on the eye lid you can genly apply on that, too. Make sure you will chose the right shade for your skin tone.

Like any other eye cream you will apply it with very gentle movements under eye area and on the eye lid. The eye lid needs to be moisturized too, so yes, you will apply the cream on the eye lids. The veil (in the small jar) which comes in 3 shades(light, medium, dark) can be used under the eye (like a concealer).

Many of the Lancome eye creams were created to reduce the eye bags. Because they target also other actions like wrinles, dark area reducing, hydration... my best advice is to stop at a Lancome counter and the beauty advisor will offer you samples so you can try it for a few days and make sure you are happy with the results. Lancome is one of the few high end cosmetic company that I always could get samples (if not packaged they can make you samples). You will find the right cream.

The multiple-action formula will combat eye puffiness, wrinkles, and dark circles while tightening and illuminating the eye area. The cream soothes the eye area while the veil brightens and conceals while it's working. For a waterproof, full coverage eye concealer, try Effacernes.
