In a given day I have to wipe the smudges from my lids and under eye area at least 6 times. I am only using 1 coat/application so I don't understand why the smudging is so extreme. I really love the effect, but I am going to have to throw this away as I can't continue to use it without looking like a clown. So disappointing!! 3/1/13

The so purple is very lovely. I like it when I wear pink colored shadows with the purple mascara it makes my brown eye pop.

I have brown eyes, and while my eyes are pretty big, the purple seems to add to the size. I get alot of compliments when I use purple mascara, along with the purple hues in eye shadows.

I have a fair complexion and have worn purple mascara. It really looks great if you have green or hazel colored eyes! To answer at least one of your questions I'd say 'Yes!' You can wear purple mascara. If you feel it's a bit too much apply a coat of brown or black first and layer the purple over it. Either way should be beautiful. Have fun! Happy Holidays!
