I've used Lancome products for 30 years & have been very pleased with the makeup and skin care lines. At 52 I require an anti-wrinkle moisturizer so I purchased the High Resolution Refill 3x. Unfortunately it irritated my skin ... the area under the cheek bone to the jaw line was very itchy. I stopped using it and the itching subsided. I still use the High Resolution Eye Cream ... no problems or skin reactions with it.

This is my go-to moisturizer in the winter or if my normally combination skin needs more oomph than I get from my usual lighter-weight moisturizer. I use it 2x a day after my serum. The ingredients and quality are great, especially for protecting against premature aging and correcting minor lines, etc. that may be starting to form. It does not, however, have a sunscreen in it though-so if you invest in this product make sure you're using spf daily over it (the spf in your foundation usually don't quite cut it) Otherwise, you're basically pouring money and product effectiveness away since so much damage is caused by sun exposure.

I've been using Lancome facial care products for almost 30 years, and when I look in the mirror at age 59 and see no wrinkles or sags, I feel really good about that long-term investment. I started with Renergie back in the 80s, and then came Absolue in the 90s. They were both effective, but frankly too heavy for daytime wear.
I've been using High Resolution since its introduction a few years ago, and I just love it. Light, non-oily, disappearing, it's the perfect morning moisurizer. I don't wear foundation, and I've found that HR smoothes out my skin so I don't have to. It's a great product. I hope Lancome keeps it around for a long time.

I started using this about 1 week ago and i am absolutely in love with it! I'm seeing almost instant results. My makeup glides on and doens't leave my face oily. It's a little pricey, but it will last you for a very long time!

I originally received this as a sample product. I use it everyday right before applying makeup. I love it! It doesn't make my face oily or greasy which is unheard of for my skin type. It's light and makes my skin feel refreshed. I'll definitely be buying more in the near future!

You seem to be on the right track of taking care of your skin. As for night time moisturizer, I love 'BIENFAIT MULTI-VITAL NIGHT:High Potency Night Moisturizing Cream'. It definitely takes care of my dry flaky skin after a long skiing weekend. For day time in WINTER, I use ' BIENFAIT MULTI-VITAL SPF 30 CREAM'. In SUMMER, I use ' BIENFAIT MULTI-VITAL SPF 30 LOTION'. I have a sensitive-acne-prone skin and it gets even more dry when I moved to Colorado two years ago, but BIENFAIT moisturizer was my new discovery back in May of 2012, and I absolutely loved it since, because it doesn't make me break out and it keeps my skin nice and soft.

I had a really bad problem with dry skin as well. No matter what I tried, I always got these awful flakes on my forehead, nose, and cheeks. I most definitely recommend trying the lancome High Resolution REFILL 3X with SPF15. I live in California where it is warm most of the year. In one day of trying this product my skin was less dry, after one week my skin felt so supple I couldn't believe it. It's phenomenal. And you know that awful feeling you get when you wash your face at night and your skin is tight? Well I dont feel that anymore, and I've been using this product for two months. If the products you are using are doing well for you then continue to use those. If you are looking for more moisture, then try using Nutrix. I am in my mid fifties and have very dry skin from a thyroid condition and I love Nutrix. It seems to last a lot longer than the other good products Lancome has to offer.8 months ago

Nutrix Royal is an excellent hydrator. Another option is to apply an oil (argan, evening primrose, baobab, sea buckthorn, carrot) before any moisturizer. During NYC winters when it's dry, I'll use a night moisturizer during the day.Gender: Female

I HAVE USED LANCOME SINCE 2 YEARS AGO. I DID START WITH BIEN FAIT TOTAL, THEN I GOT HIGH RESOLUTION REFILL 3X SPF 15 SUNSCREEN, IT IS A VERY GOOD STUFF, BUT THE LAST TIME THAT I GOT IT (DECEMBER 2012), THE LABEL CREAM DID NOT SAY SPF SUNSCREEN AND THE BOX EITHER. COULD YOU TELL ME PLEASE IF THIS CREAM HAS SPF SUNSCREEN?

I just noticed that this night, my new High Resolution, bought last month (through a retailer, not this site) no longer says a single thing about SPF!!! I am absolutely returning it to the store tomorrow, and will certainly be mentioning my upset at not being told that my main skin protection had just REMOVED THE PROTECTION!I expect more from Lancome, considering I use Genefique, Renergie Eye care, and Visionnaire at least twice per day. If it is truly no longer containing SPF, I will have to find a new product, period, and that's an unhappy prospect.

If there is any sunscreen in the product, it will say it on the front of the jar or tube somewhere. If you do not see it printed anywhere then it is not in the product. Even if there is SPF in a moisterizer or makeup, it is never enough for complete protection. It helps, but you still need to apply a sunscreen separately. Apply your moisterizer first, then your sunscreen. Makeup is applied last.Gender: Female

Each time I have re-started using it, I've noticed a HUGE improvement in my skins texture and luminosity. It is the BEST but because of the high price I have had to go without it at times. No, there is no sunscreen in this moisterizer. High Resolution Refill might not be right for you unless your skin is extremely dry and/or mature. For your age, I would recommend anything in the Bienfait line. This line has sunscreen in their products. I am 48 yrs old and have been using both High Resolution and Genifique for years with excellent results. People think I am 10 yrs younger than my actual age! I layer both products and use Genifique youth activating serum all over my face (after a shower or wash) followed by High Resolution Eye (its a bit thicker than Genifique Eye so I feel its absorbing deeper and staying more in the eye area) then High Resolution Refill moisturizer all over my face. I do not use High Resolution Night because its very thick (almost like vaseline) and I don't feel its needed. You will notice a difference almost immediately...your skin will be velvety smooth! The High Resolutin line is for wrinkles in expression lines, loss of elacticity, clarity, texture, tone and fine lines.The Genifique line does it all. It is for uneven skin tone and texture, dryness, puffiness, pores, wrinkles, and expression lines, dehydration and expression lines. It is also lifting. It works with lack of firmness, clarity, age spots, dark spots and a loss of radiance.
I would definately use the Genifique line of products to target all your needs and prevent or delay the other skin care concerns most have as their facial skin matures.
