Though my skin is cool-toned (pink undertones), the following eyeshadow combinations are really very flattering because of the blue eyes, and they also work very well for those with warm-toned skin:
A) pale beige on lid (all over lid, eyelashes to brows), pale taupe-brown on crease & corner (outer 1/3 to 1/2 of crease and outer 1/4 to 1/3 of lid from lashes to crease), the same pale brown or a slightly darker brown on upper and lower outer lash-line, using the eyeshadow as a soft & smudged eyeliner (outer 1/3 to 1/2 of the upper and lower lash lines), brown or black eyeliner to enhance eyes, and optionally white or cream eyeliner on the lower waterline to further open up the eyes, brown or black mascara and lashes if you like them and have skills with them.
B) pale gold - full lid, orangey-copper - crease & corner, brown - lash-lines [a green-bronze by the lash-lines also looks flattering for blue eyes], eyeliner, etc.
C) pale pink - full lid [if your face and eye area have a lot of red or you are very cool-toned, this can sometimes make your eyes look irritated, so be careful and apply foundation well if you try this], pink-brown - crease & corner, red-toned brown - lash-lines, etc. [The Siena Sultry compact would be just beautiful for a soft wedding look if it works for you. And the step 3 of the "day look" illustrates what I mean by crease & corner perfectly. I just avoid the step 2 as it can close in my eyes too much and give them a smaller appearance.]
D) white - full lid, light warm brown - crease & corner, etc.
For all of these, I love to amp up the look by taking a shimmery or slightly sparkly white/pale pink/yellow/gold shadow and highlighting the inner corner of the eye (and the top and bottom lash-lines at the corner). I'm not that young, and am happy to know that shimmer isn't just for teens; but I generally don't use the same sparkle at the brow-bone, as I find that -is- overdoing it. The first base full lid color acts as a highlight for the brow. Optionally, you can add an even lighter, but matte highlight there. The Lancome shadows I would describe as "any age appropriate moderate fine shimmer". :)
For enhancing blue eyes, think of the color wheel. The colors on the opposite side of the wheel to your eye color (within reason and the context of your overall feature colors) are flattering and enhance the eye. For us, the opposing color would be orange, but is the reason why eyeshadow in the range of very light to very dark yellows, oranges, and reds can potentially enhance blue eyes. My favorites are still browns (actually a combination of blue and orange, if you play with a paint palette), creams, coppers, very soft pinks, and golds. I look forward to experimenting further with apricots and bolder oranges.
In case you're interested, the makeup artist used: the Aquatique Nude primer, mainly the Kitten Heel & Madison Avenue eyeshadows (I think also a touch of Vue), and the Fumée (grey) eyeliner. Grey liner is also neat, but I lean toward browns for eyeliner now, and sometimes use a grey shadow for the lash-lines. She used a warmer blush (Miel Glacé) than I would use in the past, but it really enhanced the blue eyes, and used only a soft lipgloss (Color Fever Plumper in Puckered) to finish the look.
Good luck!

*cerulean blue (anywhere from deep to sky depending on manufacturer);
*cyan (aqua blue);
*greens with violet;
*silver with a smokey look;
*browns (carnelian/bronze/sienna) with green liner;
*pinks (mixes well with blues).
Don't limit yourself by the "this doesn't go with hazel eyes" doctrine since color is different on everyone. Each manufacturer does the same color differently so it'll be trial and error until you figure out and use whatever looks best on you.:)
