I bought mine over 25 years ago, and I STILL have it and use it. I love this brush, and if you figure that it cost me just about half of what it cost now, it's been a worthwhile investment! A couple times a year I give it a good shampoo with some soap. I rinse it off really well, and let it air dry. That's it! You won't go wrong with this brush!!!

I bought this brush 3 years ago and it has stood the test of time, unlike other brands of brushes I have had in the past. Since then, I have purchased several other Lancome brushes. It applies powder and bronzer effortlessly, and blends/softens blush and eyeshadow like a dream. It is also great for removing excess powder based makeup if necessary.
The one downside is that although washes up nicely with soap and water, it takes about 2-3 days to dry completely because the bristles are so dense. I wash it on Friday and it's usually dry by Monday. It was a worthwhile investment.
I also recommend that you save the plastic tube it comes it. It protects the bristles when it is stored in your makeup bag.
