I love this primer. I only wear it when I go out. When I put it on my make up goes on so smooth. Not only that but it makes my make up last way much longer. I love the matte finish since I have oily skin. By far the best product! Worth buying worth the money.

The fact of having an oily face after just an hour wearing make-up used to annoy me so much in the past. Luckily, I came across a make-up tutor video clip of Michelle Phan in which this product was used to prevent that problem. I immediately ordered it with the hope that my face would be perfectly matte. And guess what???!!
Lancome has never let me down. I am now very confident with my make-up despite the hot and humic weather in Vietnam. It helps prevent you from having a greasy, shining face and also helps your make up stay in place. I am so in love with this product, and I am sure you will love it as much as I do if You have the same problem like me.

Mixes well with foundations and highlighters. Texture is very smooth. Wears well. A little goes a long way.

If you have not tried this you should. I would never put on my makeup again without this primer. My makeup last longer and the primer evens out my skin and smooths the wrinkles. I should this to a friend and now she also uses it and finds that her face feels so much better.

I have the most difficult skin tone to match, so I have to be careful. And then it has the nerve to be combination skin! Would this product help me? Med-Dark Brown with Indian Red tones, and for the first time (at 47) I want to wear foundation. I need product to address pore issues. Is this also a concealer, too

No this is not a concealer. :( It does however help smooth out your skin to help make a clean canvas for your foundation. Another great thing about this product is it does trick your skin. It helps with any acne problem and uneven skin tone throughout time. So in a way, it's a wall between your outer and inner layer of skin that will help protect against any future problems. I would recommend Lancome's waterproof concealers. They are magnificent.6 months ago

While I am no professional, there are excellent employees behind the Lancome counter that can help you.I too have not worn foundation until I turned 52, I was hestitant but found great help from a Lancome employee. I use the the La Base Pro and in the summertime I use the IMANANCE and in the winter TEINT MIRACLE.
Give it try, you can usually get little sample that will last you a couple of days so you can try it out.

Hope I can help you here:) but I've used this product for 3 years now and from what I've heard and seen, this is the HG of primers in my book. It claims to be perfect for ALL skin types, I have a friend who has such dry and oily skin and one night I lent her the product while we were going out dancing and she was floored with how great her makeup stayed intact without patchy marks. From what I've experienced, this primer not only keeps everything in place, but it also has a smooth lightweight finish, mattifies your skin and the most important, NO PORES:) Unfortunately it isn't a concealer because it's mainly used for keeping makeup in place. Again, the primer works for ALL skin types of all different tones, and I hope when you try it, it'll work wonders:) Hope this helped!Gender: Female

I would apply La Base Pro before foundation but after your sunblock. It is meant to provide a nice base for your foundation as well as keep your makeup on longer than if you were to apply it without make up primer.Gender: Female

La Base Pro would be in between number 4 and 5. It is the first step of beautification after skin care. It simply goes in places you want a flawless finish, filling in small fine lines and helping to hold your Lancôme foundation in place even longer. After application I suggest waiting a couple of minutes so it can breathe and then being applying your foundation.Gender: Female

Definitely! I would do this all the time whenever I was in a rush somewhere and I didn't want a shiny face:) I love the primer because it doesn't expose your pores and it gives your face a smooth finish which means, no lines and it fills in your pores without exposing them. When you finish applying, your skin should feel smooth and look matte. And as long as you moisturize, your skin should feel great:) Hope this helped!Gender: Female

Yes, most definately you can use "La Base" over your moisturizer. It is a light clear texture when applied will smooth out your skin and fill in pores. It does not leave any residue and absorbs quickly into the skin. It can be used with or without makeup.Gender: Female

Dont wear a lot of makeup. The T Controle is my favorite product, because it gave me a smooth matte finish without makeup and made me less oily looking. The packaging and price was changed. I still have my old light green 1 oz bottle that has lasted a long time.

I think it can, if you would use it in that manner, I have the oily skin also and I never much cared for the powder gel you are talking about, but it was what the best thng on the market. Dont be afraid of the oily feeling you get when you feel it in your fingers, it works as a silcone base and will not absorb into your skin it set on top of the skin as a barrier, so the foundation of the makeup will not absorb, in to the creases.Gender: Female
