Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Both Colors! Originally received the So Black color as a sample in the Midnight Rose gift set for Mother's Day 2012. I tried it and liked it a lot-- no flaking, gave me a wide eyed look and it was easy to remove with soap and water. I saw that a purple color was available online from the Lancome USA website and purchased that one. Love how this color looks on my lashes. For reference-- I am a brunette with olive skin tones and dark brown eyes. 11/29/12
Rated 1 out of 5 by do not waste your money on Lancome Doll Lashes I've been wearing Doll Lashes and every time I put on this mascara, it forms tons of lumpy clumps on my lashes and frequently gets into my eyeball and contact lenses, which burns. I've never had this problem with other mascaras. It has an awful rose smell which is irritating in an eye product. It smears and flakes easily. It does not help curl my lashes upon application like some other mascaras. My lashes just lay flat. The formula is too goopy and dries out quickly. Into the trash it goes! I expect a lot from Lancome because they make great mascaras but Doll Lashes is the worst mascara I have ever tried. I think drugstore mascaras perform better than this awful product. 10/26/12
Rated 3 out of 5 by Can you say smudge??? I am so sorry to write a negative review for this mascara. I've used Definicils for about 20 years. Lately I am not getting the usual results so I tried Doll Lashes. Even after reading the reviews I still tried the Hypnose Doll Lashes only to be another disappointed customer. I wore it out to a Sweet 16 dinner and came home after only 4-5 hours of wear with smudges!!! Yuk. I wanted to love this product but I can't. I am over fifty and do not need any additional darkness around my eyes. Re-formulate please...great concept lousy execution. 10/21/12

Rated 5 out of 5 by I can only say excellent... I love this mascara. It works just like it is supposed to. I am limited in the mascaras I use as many irritate my eyes. Some people mentioned this product flaking or bothering their eyes and I had no problems with this both in the sample size or the two full sized ones I've used. It does add a lot of lash drama and applies smoothly. For those saying that it smudges, I suggest throwing on a coat of cheap drug store mascara over it. I've gone rock climbing with both on together and have had the great lashes from the hypnose and smudge-proof bonus from the cheap stuff. I was actually able to go out right afterwards to dinner and only needed to apply lipstick! If I'm just going out to dinner or drinks, the hypnose by itself is fantastic!!! 8/23/12
