Rated 1 out of 5 by Toooooo Oily Yes, it goes on smooth and feels nice going on BUT After i apply foundation, few hours later it seems my face blotches and gets oily. I tried this with multiple foundations and still got the same effect. 4/18/12
Rated 5 out of 5 Worth every penny!!! I have not had good experience with any primers over the past few years. I've tried them ALL & never found one I liked in the least. My aunt talked me into trying Lancome foundation & while at the counter the makeup consultant showed me this & I was in love!!! It takes 1-2 pumps for my face/neck area & lasts all day! My husband & I have very oily skin & I talked him into trying it. His face looked great all day too! At the end of the day our faces are not oily or shiny at all. No more blotting! Thank you Lancome!!! 4/17/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wouldn't be without it!!! This product is magnificent! The other day, I mistakenly put my foundation on without it and was so disappointed. La Base makes foundation flow more evenly over your skin and makes it feel like silk. It even extends the foundation so that you can use less. Try it - you will not want to give it up!!! 3/16/12

Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth the Price At first glance, this product might seem to be on the expensive side. However, once you start using it you realize that is not true. I first moisturize, then put La Base on prior to using Lancome mineral foundation. It takes just one pump for me. The texture of La Base is amazing and it goes on your skin so easily and evenly. Not only does it take such a small amount, but I have noticed that I am using less concealer and less foundation; therefore, both of these products will last much longer which in turns saves money. I highly recommend you give it a try. 2/15/12
