Rated 2 out of 5 by Didn't like this product I received this and the chocolate colored liner as a gift. It does go on smoothly and is a good color, but as others mentioned, it does not stay where you put it and smears terribly. Someone else recommended using eyeshadow as a primer or for setting the eyeliner and I found that this worked and it stayed in place all day. Will use mine up, but can't recommend it because it isn't waterproof. 1/5/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Eyeliner I really like this liner. It goes on silky smooth and is easy to smudge. I have found if you put it on and either leave it as a strong line or smudge it and FOLLOW up with a light dusting of shadow or powder it will last all day without smudging, running or wearing off. If you want a stark line on top of your makeup or without any other make up I would not suggest this type of liner because being silky smooth and easy to smudge on the lid it will not work as say a liquid or stay in place on its own. It does NOT dry out and drag like many cheaper inferior products do. 11/5/11
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't Bother, Because It Rubs Off Easily! I had very high hopes for this product. I received a sample of the Black Coffee Le Crayon Kohl, and liked it enough to buy the full size. I purchased the full size from Macy's, and was pleased to find that it was a very large pencil. At the time, I felt that it was a great value. I used it the next day, and about 3 hours into my workday I checked my makeup, and found that I had two large black smudges in the crease of my eye! I thought that it must have been a fluke, so I checked again in a few hours; MORE black smudges in the crease! When I got home from work that evening, I realized that the eyeliner that I had applied that morning had pretty much disappeared. I rubbed at my eye with my ring finger, and what little eyeliner that remained came off right on my finger! This is NOT worth it. It has no staying power, and it smudges off too easily. The sample I had must have been waterproof, or a different formula! 10/13/11
