Answer:
Both are considered skin treatments that work well together but not required. The Genifique is a light clear serum that will produce over time a youthful radiance and brightness to the skin. Visionaire is opaque serum that will produce skin smoothness, reduce wrinkes and shrink the appearance of pores.

Answer:
You can use Visionnaire in the day time and Genifique at night, if you are looking to reap the benefits of both products. Visionnaire will smooth fine lines, shrink pores and improve the overall texture of the skin with the first results in just 7 days. Genifique will restore radiance to the skin and provide a youthful rested glow, and a soft cushiony feel. You can use only one serum, both day and night, or one or the other, and still expect to see great results! My recommendation for the most glowing, soft, smooth skin would be to use Visonnaire during the day under your moisturizer, and Genifique at night. There is no need to layer your serums.

Answer:
I did not receive direct advice from a Lancome expert at the counter about Genifique, nor did i use the samples I received in Lancome gift bonuses over time.

But now I do. Use Genifique.

Love it. Love it. Love it.

I use Genifique both in the AM and the PM starting this winter of 2012.

. I also use a prescription retinoid every other night, and like how I can use Genifique when using the prescription retinoid.
No irritation at all.

Visionnaire is excellent, by the way. I am out of Visionaire, and have not replenished yet because of the continued good results I have from the Genifique 2x a day.

If I had both products - I know me, I know how both products work - for me (not everyone is the same) - and I know I would use both products this way for my age fifty something skin:
AM: Cleanse face
Apply Genifique
Apply Genifique eye creme (LOVE IT!)
Do something else for 2- 3 minutes that is part of my morning routine
Apply Visionnaire
Do something else for a minute or so
Apply moisturizer in areas where needed
Apply primer
Continue with basic daytime face and lips.

I always let any serum or treatment sit a minute or two or three so my skin has some extra time to let it absorb. No one has ever told me to do that - I just do.

Use that Genifique the way that makes the best sense to you. Same thing with Visionnaire. With either product - a little goes a long way. Both products last a long time before anyone needs to purchase again.

Answer:
seems that Visionnaire’s secret sauce also has do with something that plants produce called jasmonic acid. There are two ingredients in Visionnaire’s otherwise lackluster formula that point to jasmonic acid: sodium tetrahydrojasmonate and tetrahydrojasmonic acid. And I must admit that jasmonic acid is very interesting.
Jasmonic acid is a “jasmonate” and one of its major functions is to protect a plant under stress. Put a hungry caterpillar on a leaf and the plant will start to produce jasmonic acid. It is actually a kind of hormone and when it senses that the plant is under attack, it inhibits growth. Another thing that jasmonic acid is big on is stimulating tuber formation; jasmonic acid is the main reason a potato becomes a potato. t’s a rather bleak concoction with only a smattering of sodium hyaluronate amongst the many silicones, standard emollients and synthetic thickeners.

Answer:
seems that Visionnaire’s secret sauce also has do with something that plants produce called jasmonic acid.
