Hypnose adds volume that looks natural. It doesn't dry stiff, so my eyes are comfortable and relaxed. It's not waterproof, so it washes off easily with just water, yet it doesn't smudge at all while wearing it. It won't stay on during swimming, but is easily washed off before, and can be easily reapplied after swimming. I am so glad it comes in brown. I love the brown for a softer look. Yet it's dark enough that it actually looks black when worn. I receive so many compliments on my eyes, when wearing Hypnose. The only drawback is price. The price is more than I can spend. I buy it and save for special occasions. I wish I could afford it for daily wear.

I have very long natural lashes and started out with the Definicils mascara. I received a sample of the Hypnose with a makeup purchase and found that I use it the most. I love the definition, coverage and volume that Hypnose provides. I use the Definicils mascara when I want a lighter coverage with separation on casual days at home or soccer field. Hypnose is my "go to" mascara that never fails to accentuate the volume and length of my natural lashes with just enough drama, more so than Definicils yet never looks over done.

I've tried a few Lancome mascaras, but, this has to be my favorite so far. I have naturally curly, long, lashes and oddly it's hard to find a mascara that helps accent my natural beauty. Guess what? This mascara was exactly what I was looking for - It's perfect, I plan on buying this mascara from now on.

It's the only mascara i have purchased more than 5 times.i first used when i was 17 as a sample from a lancome's palette, gift from my father.it gives me length and super volume.with one coat i can get impressive eyelashes great for everyday and with two coats i get the false lashes effect.i only wish it could become a little more cheaper but it totally worth its money

I found this mascara somewhat slow drying. I would apply it and 30 seconds later I would blink and have mascara marks on my upper lid and below my eye. I also had a tendency to flake near the end of an 8 hour work day but not horribly. I will say the color is intensely black, which I loved but I found I had to fan my face for 15-20 seconds to get it to dry completely. I liked the brush and the size of the bristles and I had no irritation whatsoever.
