No, as it is a moisturizer. I did use one when I first began using mine and my skin had alot of shine. So the next night I did not use the moisturizer and the next day it was perfect. The product itself recommends using a moisturizer. I always put on a moisturizer after I use the serum, however depending on your skin type you may want to use a lotion instead of a cream. I find that if I use a cream, it is too much moisture for my face and it becomes oily, but a lotion is just right!Gender: Female

I believe it suggests you use a moisturizer after Visionnaire but it is so weightless and great that I don't want to have to put on my thicker moisturizer, especially in the summer. Not much of a definitive answer but I do believe the packaging does recommend using a moisturizer after application.Gender: Female
