Rated 2 out of 5 by I wish it was like the original.. I have been using the original Teint Idole Ultra for almost 3 years - and i really loved it (was my Holy Grail foundation). Once i have herd that it will be discontinued - i was really disappointed. I wish i can love the new 24H foundation but i just can't. Yes it has large color variation, yes its little bit more full coverage. But it just does not feel the same as the original. It feels really thick, cakey and it just does not feel right. I like the type of foundation when you apply it , it feel really light and like you have nothing on your face. Throughout the day of wearing the 24H foundation - it feels like i have a heavy mask on my face (and no i do not apply lots of layers on, i apply it exactly the same way as i applied the original Teint Idole Ultra - only one pump). I'll be willing to give this foundation a try only if the formula can be improved. Otherwise i'm in a search of a new foundation. :( 4/23/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great foundation for combo skin I have combo skin bordering on oily, and this stays put with great coverage. Use la base primer first- makes it blend easier. Doesn't make me break out at all. I also have redness and this totally covers it up. I like it better than Teinte Miracle for oiler skin, better coverage. I set it with the mattifying powder. 4/22/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best foundation for oily skin I used the old formula for three years and loved it!!!! I was skeptical when I heard Lancome changed the formula..but wow!!! I am so impressed with the 24hr formula!!!! I have the OILIEST skin of anyone I know and 24hr holds up all day. It is a miracle product for me. My shade in the old formula was buff 5(c) and buff 220(c) is an absolute perfect match for my skin :) 4/20/12
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Impressed, Miss the Original Teint Idole Ultra This is a totally different foundation in totally different shades & it shouldn't have replaced the original Teint Idole Ultra! The original went on smoothely and covered evenly; this new one is thick and doesn't blend well. I have to use extra foundation and/or moisturizer while applying to even have a chance of even coverage. Once it's on, the color isn't nice either. I tried the new shade the website suggested and I also tried to be matched in store; the new shades all came out lighter, sort of grey, and dull. And then the finish/wear was not near the quality of the original Teint Idole. Within a couple hours, the makeup was cakey and dirty looking. Definately didn't stand up to even a little oiliness either. Plus, it's leaving dry red patches on my face! So sad that Lancome took away such a great product to make room for this disappointment! 4/19/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by My search is over Given my oily skin, I settled with Double Wear from Estee Lauder, but was never happy with it. Thank you Lancome for this new product. It is AMAZING!!! Not too matte, not too moisturizing. The perfect balance and wonderful color choices. Never stop making this product, please. 4/18/12
