Sadly bags and dark circles under the eyes don't seem to know how old you are. I only recently at age 47 started to have puffiness under my eyes but since I was in my late teens and early 20's I've had dark circles. I'm a pro at covering them! So yes, if you're having one or two of these problems I would suggest this. BTW, I keep my bottle in the fridge so the pearl stays cold to give it an extra boost for the puffys. If you just want to prevent your eyes from future damage, wrinkles, crows feet, etc. Lancome has some other great eye creams that would also be suitable. And remember, if you buy this product, to run the pearl around the inner rim of the bottle to remove excess product from being wasted. It states this on the instructions. When I put under eye cream on over the Genifique eye light-pearl my skin starts peeling off every time i do it this way so i have got to where i either have to use one or the other on my eyes. Does this happen to anyone else and maybe i am doing it wrong maybe i should just use one or the other. When i use the lancome serums on my face and then the lancome face cream my facial skin does not peel off like it does when i use lancome under eye cream over the genifique eye light pearl. ( it just peels under the eye and over the eye when i do it with the serum first then the cream). Does not do this on my face like i said.

That's a really great question! Because the two products work on different layers of the skin you need to first apply your eye cream. It will work more deeply. Because the Genifique Eye Light-Pearl is a step between a serum and a cosmetic approach, you will need to use this next.(Also, just a tip, I have found that leaving the product's excess on my clients a little longer before patting it off makes the results even more dramatic)

as far as I know there are no gluten ingredients in this product. I've never seen any mention of any wheat or gluten. The "old" or "classic" Genifique eye does contain Buckwheat extract, not sure of the gluten content, but light pearl does not have the buckwheat extract.Gender: Female
