Rated 5 out of 5 by Luminous Finish I tried samples of high end makeup from many lines for my aging skin. The Absolue bx is the only one that offers me good coverage, is moisturizing, has a silken finish and adds luminescence to my face. Because my skin was sun damaged in my youth, I have my fair share of wrinkles and Absolue bx doesn't collect in my wrinkles or pores. It's expensive but when you get older, it's worth the money to use makeup that makes you look good. 11/5/12

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Foundation I am a foundation fanatic--it is one area where I will not skimp nor "settle" for a finish or shade that isn't (in my view) perfect. I take great care of my skin, so I am not about to slather on any old base - I want to highlight the good and minimize the inevitable signs of age. Absolu bx is THE foundation for dryer skin, or skin that is a bit older and needs a little extra "oomph" to get the bloom back. I can't describe the precise finish and feel that makes it perfect, because "Glowing", "Satin" and other adjectives used by other manufacturers always translate to oily, greasy or "unset" on me. This foundation merges-sinks in to your skin-leaving the most natural looking youthful 'bloom' .Living in Michigan, I use this from November until Spring.It wears well, and keeps my skin moist all day but NOT greasy.PERFECT Lancome! Pricey, so occassional discounts would be fabulous for loyal fans! I am always complimented on my skin! 12/21/11
Rated 5 out of 5 Amazing for dry skin and red spots! I have fair - olive skin, my skin gets very dry and flaky. I've tried numerous types and brands prior to Lancome and Bx is by far the best. It keeps my skin moisturized all day, it feels light and gives me a hint of dewiness that i like, if your the type who likes matte look you can just top it off with loose powder. But the thing i like most about this is that it looks natural, you can layer it on for more coverage and it would still feel light on your skin yet keeps the moisture in. 10/23/11
