I have worn Magie Noire for years now, since back in the late 80's. Please, please do not discontinue this perfume! I've heard rumors. I also would love it if you would bring back the body lotion, body powder and the original bottle with the black cap! I don't know why you have decided to use this ho-hum bottle! Please please bring back the original line. My husband picked this out for me and I loved it because I hadn't worn it in over 5 years.....! I love this fragrance because it is not like any other out there...not too sweet...not too green smelling and just warm and lovely. My husband picked it out because it wasn't sweet! Why don't you do an advertising campaign on bringing back a classic fragrance? We're out here and we love it Others will too if it is marketed !! Thank you Lancome for a beautiful fragrance!!!!!

I fell in love with Magie Noire back in the 80's when my grandmother was given the bath powder as a gift one Christmas. I remember I patted a little of it on my arm and for the entire day I kept obsessively sniffing it. It was the most beautiful fragrance. It was this fragrance that brought me to Lancome and made me a loyal Lancome user ever since. I ran right out the next day and purchased the bath powder as well as the pure perfume in the little black capped bottle. Sadly both of those items have been discontinued and I am left with the eau de toilette, which I use, but is really not the same. I wish Lancome would bring back the pure perfume and powder. Many people, young and old, ask what fragrance I am wearing and ask where can they buy it becuase they love how it smells. I have never had anyone say that it was too strong or that they didn't like it. This fragrance has been with me through out my travels, and when I wear it I have fond memories of places I have been and people I have met. This work of art triggers emotions which is why I wear it until this very day. Please don't discontinue this classic and please expand the line to include the pure perfume, bath and shower gel and the bath powder like Tresor, my other favorite has in it's line of products. Don't deprive future generations the privelege of enjoying this beautiful fragrance.

Even young guys have pretended to swoon to the floor upon my passing whenever I wore this fragrance to work. Strange men have remarked on it in elevators. After 20 years of being my number one all time favorite and only fragrance, women still stop me in stores to ask what I am wearing and make expressions of ecstasy. Maybe it's just chemistry. Since favorite fragrances of other women do not work on me. None of the bestsellers do, I would wear no perfume (even the most expensive scents turn "metallic" when they get past my olfactory senses into my throat & nearly all perfume is repulsive to me) but Magie Noire gives me no adverse effects, and I never get tired of it. The kicker is I hate the smell of rose! One of its top notes. But sandalwood and patchouli are two favorite essential oils that work for me, and maybe that is the key to Magie Noire's harmonious chemistry with mine. I do miss the body cream greatly. Wish Lancome would bring it back.

Unbelievably beautiful, hypnotic, warm, cozy, mesmerizing fragrance. This is how fragrance compositions used to be made. Please bring back the original bottles and packaging. We want the original PERFUME in the original PERFUME BOTTLE as well. Can't forget the dusting powder. Bravo to Lancome for continuing to produce one of the all-time great fragrances. And to the esteemed marketing teams....although new is always fun and enticing.....don't forget the roots of a brand....just because it's been around a number of years does not mean a brand should abandon it and move on. This brand has such a wonderful and long heritage....please respect it.

My godmother who lived in Paris for some time introduced me to this fragrance and I use it now. It is a true classic but not like the old ladies fragrances. The name is so true as there is something dark, magical and sexy about it. This is not my every day fragrance but one that I really treasure like my dear Auntie.
