Rated 5 out of 5 by Soft, sexy & nice I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this powder. I am used to using Dual Finish, but wanted a change. I like this powder because it's light, provides me with the coverage needed, great value, quality, solid packaging. Long lasting throughout the day. I have combo skin and it's 49 years old and all I want is to take off the shine and give me a bit of coverage...this powder does its job...you will not be disappointed. Makes your own skin shine through. If you have good skin, why not show it off instead of hiding it? 12/5/12
Rated 2 out of 5 by This product is light weight enough for combination / oily skin types but the formula is not suitable.. Translucence powder is no comparison to the Matte Finish that Lancome had in its line up. This new powder is supposed to maintain a matte finish and be good for oilier skin types. It is not. It has "moist" powders added to the powder for a creamier texture. The silkiness of the powder adds too much of a sheen effect. After the powder is on for a while, the skin's own oils naturally come through and the powder ends up looking pasty. Totally disappointed with this new powder. Lancome seems to be veering away from helping anyone with skin types that are oilier and/or combination oily. Took away the Pure Focus. Took away the Matte Finish. Took away the foundations of long ago that were excellent. New is not always better. Bring back the formulas that truly worked. Hopefully, the Renergie lotion will not be taken away. The Aqua Vital lotion still isn't light-weight enough for oiler skins. 9/17/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful powder, but wish there were was a lighter shade I think this is the best powder I have ever used - it has a light sheer texture and yet it still has a little coverage. It is excellent for oily skin. My only complaint is that I have fair skin with pink undertones and the lightest shade offered, 100 Ivoire, is a litte too deep/yellow for me. I wish you offered this is in the Matte Porcelaine shade that is available in the Dual Finish powder. 7/22/12
Rated 4 out of 5 by i likse using this product to set a liquid foundation. i use the sponge and press it into the skin. the finish it gives is flawless and matte, but not dead looking! i only wish the matte effect lasted longer. but either way it's wonderful. 6/17/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best transparent powder ever!! I purchased this from a Lancome counter in NM while on vacation there since I'd forgotten some items at home. The powder purchase was an afterthought but I am HOOKED! It's soft, light, and lasts all day without requiring much touch-ups! I've used other department store products in the past but am slowly replacing those products with Lancome!! 5/26/12
