It's a shimmer, and no, you can't get any of the colors in the 5 pan palettes individually. You might get close with the Color Design Infinite 24 Hour in Continuous Cream.

The Artliner is neither glossy or matte. It is just right. You can order one only or several colors. They last a long time, so treat yourself to more than just black. The forest green is awesome and makes my eyes look more green.

Unfortunately there is no color that really is a good substitute for nutmeg. Lancome - please bring back nutmeg!!!!!! The compliments I have received on nutmeg far exceed those on other colors. Fortunately i had a new nutmeg in a box that had not been unpacked from a few moves ago that i have been using - but I am running out. Please Lancome, bring back nutmeg!!!!

Shimmer eyeshadows can be used by just about everyone. Matte finish eyeshadows are more natural looking and better suited to older women looking for color, not the flashier shimmers. Matte is also better used under the browbone and more suited for everyday wear, like to the office.

Shimmer eyeshadows can be used by just about everyone. Matte finish eyeshadows are more natural looking and better suited to older women looking for color, not the flashier shimmers. Matte is also better used under the browbone and more suited for everyday wear, like to the office.

I would recommend going to the counter at the mall and trying out the shades. Some bright colors are in for the younger women. All of the lancome professionals in my area have been a great help in the past!
