In my late 20's to early 30's I started using Lancome skincare and received this scent as a sample. I remember waking in the middle of the night smelling this scent and thinking "I really like this!" The next day, I wore it again. That was it - I bought it. I'm now 55 and even though I have found a few other scents that I also like, I still always have a bottle of Magie Noire in my rotation. I find this to be a very sensual fragrance.

Although this fragrance has changed in formula, volume and price. It is still my wife's one and only fragrance. Do not discontinue it!

Magie Noire is by far one of my FAVORITE fragrances that I own. I have used this fragrance for over 10 years and absolutely love it!!! PLEASE do not discontinue this fragrance. It is ONE OF KIND! You cannot find any other fragrance on the market that compares with this one with the amber florals and sexy scent. Do not change anything in the ingredients. What I think you should do is RELAUNCH the product and you might find that a new emerging market will arise. At this time most cosmetic counters keep the fragrance behind the counter. You literally have to ask for it. If you relaunched the product with new advertising I think you would be quite surprised on how many people don't know about this fragrance. Advertising is everything! AGAIN PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS PRODUCT I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE!

I began using Magie Noire probably 30+ years ago, and it has been my favorite since. I've tried many, and none compare. I've been so afraid you'll discontinue it, since you no longer carry the perfume oil, the cream, the dusting powder, or the lotion. Please don't discontinue it!!!!

I was introduced to Magie Noire many, many moons ago because I used Lancome base makeup and received this scent in a gift bag. Whenever I would wear it, I always got compliments on it. So I went ahead and made my first purchase of the scent. It is a staple in my perfume collection. I rarely find a new scent that I like. I always receive compliments on it, have been told that the scent lingers after I leave the room. I now have to ask for it because it is kept behind the counters. Lancome doesn't even advertise this scent any longer because they have such a loyal, returning customer base. I rarely smell it on anyone else. I appreciate that fact because it makes my scent unusual.
If you like woodsy, earthy scents, then this one is for you!
