Rated 1 out of 5 by Teint Idole Ultra 24 I have been a loyal Lancome user for six years and LOVED the Teint Idole Ultra 12 hour formula. The new formula feels sticky, heavy and does not have that smooth satin finish the original had. In addition, the new formula emphasizes fine lines. I think the new formula would work for super young flawless skin with no signs of aging. I wish Lancome would consider offering both 12 hour original formula and the new for individuals who have fallen in love with it. Just a thought. If you look through the reviews, there are alot of loyal users who agree! 5/28/12
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a better product. I don't understand why the previous version had to be discontinued. It was perfect. I had been using it exclusively since it came out. Now I have to find a new foundation because this one makes my skin over dry. Certainly it lasts and has good coverage, but it does not work for me. I guess that if you have extremely oily skin, it might be a good product but the other one was better. 5/27/12

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bring back the old! This new and improved product is not improved. It feels sticky, suffocating, and heavy. I have given it a try, but find myself getting home from work and heading to the bathroom to wash it off. I am missing the old formula which had great coverage, was long wearing, and felt light and clean on my skin. I am now searching for a new foundation, which is unfortunate because I loved the old formula. Lancome, please consider bringing it back. I am serious in my request; this is the first time I have felt compelled to write any type of review. 5/25/12

When I first discovered the original formula I was not looking for a new foundation because I had given up finding any good foundation that could provide the correct shade and coverage without all the negative effects we ladies usually complain about with foundation. However, I accepted the Lancome consultant's offer to find me the right foundation. I was elated when she introduced me to the original tent idol ultra foundation in shade bisque (0)(W). It blended well and felt wonderful on my skin! This new formula is a MAJOR disappointment and the color match suggestion is way off (too light). Sad, but I guess I must go back into the foundation "battlefield" of finding another brand with a formula that matches Lancome's original formula. I didn't want to because I use the Lancome brand for everything. I wish they wouldn't have changed a formula that seems to have pleased so many women. I love Lancome but am very sad about this formula change. Lancome, if you are reading this and all the other reviews on this new product, please please please bring back the original formula with the original color shades. 5/23/12
