Notes:
Absolute Damascus Rose is the Flower of all Flowers, the Rose of all Roses.
It unveils its full richness and natural splendour.
Seed of Ambrette (from the hibiscus pod) a magnificent traditional raw material, little used these days but which gives generous vivacity from the very first scents drifting out of the perfume.
Ambroxan is a very modern amber note which works as if it were a true secret of seduction, bringing all its luminosity (Ambergris is shown, Lancôme uses a synthetic form of amber in its fragrances)
Bottle:
> Mille & Une Roses is presented in elegant, transparent glass bottle that were first designed in the early 1960s by George Delhomme, one of Lancôme’s founders.
> The simple, transparent bottles capture rays of light and allow the beautifully tinted perfumes inside to glow.
> The bottles feature a golden symbol of Parisian sophistication and history – the historic gate of Boutique Lancôme at Nº 29, rue du Faubourg, St. Honoré.
> The cabochon captures a few drops of the fragrance and is applied to the skin, a technique that is a time-honored tradition in the history of fragrance.
