Choosing colors to wear on your eyes is as easy as coordinating intensities. For example, if you have a fair complexion, choose a light shade for an all-over shadow and a medium shade in the crease. If your skin tone is more medium to olive, you'll use that same light shade as a highlight and use the medium tone as an all-over shadow.
Keep your darker shade choices along your lashes as liner, or to blend up the lid for more drama. It doesn't matter if the shades you choose are warm or cool. Just keep your combination harmoniously warm or cool to make sure your features will be the focus, not the makeup.
When coordinating cheek and lip, remember to harmonize warm cheek with warm lip (or cool with cool). This keeps your color combination looking well balanced. If you're happy with your eye shadow combination but want some variety, try changing up your cheek and lip shade choices for a different look.

First, select Porcelain, Fair, Medium, Olive, Deep, or Dark to identify your skin's intensity based on how light or dark it is.
Next, find your tone, your skin's color temperature. If your skin is more pink, rosy or beige, you have a Cool skin tone. The swatches near the top are better for you. If your skin is more golden, sandy or yellow, your skin tone is Warm. The swatches closer to the bottom are a better match. Not sure? You're probably a Neutral, with elements of both. Choose swatches from the middle.
Lancôme makes it easy for you to select foundations based on your skin's intensity and temperature. Look for Intensity I, II, III or IV, which identifies each shade range from lightest to darkest. And next to each shade on the chart youll see N, C or W which identifies the shade as Neutral, Cool or Warm.
